Works like a charm! Snapped in a Dewalt 20v turned it on and had hot glue in 2min. The included sticks are good quality and heated to a good temp with no strings or drips. Definitely recommend!

I have plenty of DeWalt batteries so this glue gun would be perfect for my collection. Highly recommend but have DeWalt batteries, it helps.I read some of the reviews. OMG.

I did not realize it didn't come with a battery and the batteries are so expensive so I can't even use this thing so it's just a purchase gone wrong.

This is a Great Product at an Amazing value 'IF' you already have a Dewalt 20V battery. If you don't, the battery is pretty pricey. However, I was able to test this glue gun with a friends battery and I was super impressed! The cordless portability is very useful. The unit heats up super fast and the glue flows without having excess drips.Great Product!

Heats up quickly, accepts DeWalt batteries, melts the glue, love it!!!! My only slight complaint is the on/off button is small and requires a direct hit to activate.

What we have here are your garden variety glue sticks.I've used over half of the pack so far, and can tell you everything there is to know:1. There's nothing super special about these, they're not crystal clear as advertised (minus 1 star), they're not extra-strength as advertised (minus another star) , they're just standard sticks.2. If the job is to glue object A to object B, these sticks will do the job as well as any other standard glue sticks, and they'll likely save you a few bucks, too.VERDICT : RECOMMENDED

I was sceptical about buying this as it is not properly DeWalt but chose this one as it had no real negative reviews, only complaints about it not having batteries.I am extremely impressed with this tool. I'm a professional carpenter and was on a large job site with very limited power. I use this hot glue gun to temporarily fasten four drawer fronts to the drawers on 65 hotel suites. The batteries fit perfectly and there is an on off switch with an LED light indicator. The gun heats up shockingly fast ready to use in not much more than one minute. The gun gets to a certain temperature that is perfect for the glue flow but doesn't exceed that temperature. Because of that you don't get any glue dripping out of the front or in some other brands actually melting the front of the gun. People complained that the batteries didn't last long but I was able to do 50 to 60 drawer fronts on a four hour battery without killing it. I've only used it for that purpose for approximately four or five days, but I would consider that industrial use not craft use. I will update if it were to fail anytime soon but as it stands this is a very good tool.
