I mounted the film so that the stripes went vertical . It lets light in as well as excellent privacy . So easy to install and worthy purchasing a proper squeegey to get rid of liquid and air bubbles . Very happy with product

I could not get the sticky backing off so was unable to use

Cheap product, defected, there’s no double side that allows you to easily stick to the windows, following all instructions on the leaflet included in the box, are measuring size, cut out, clean the windows, spray light water on glass , and place on doesn’t explain what side so your constantly trying to attach to the windows, only for it to roll down. Not my fault, it’s not worth the money.

This frosted privacy screen is good at a distance, however if the person is up close it is quite easy to see through. The stripes go vertically down the 5 metres, with 22 strips across the width.Instruction for installing it are in the packaging. You just need to cut it to size at attach it to wet glass. I used a cutting knife to cut it, but a good pair of scissors would do.However once I attached it I could clearly see through the window still, especially with the light on. If you are getting this for a stylish look you will be okay, but for privacy this doesn't cut it.The problem is that the clear parts are both too thick and not blurry enough to stop you seeing though them.
