FINALLY FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
Backstory:I’m obsessed with my current Clever Fox planner (also bought on Amazon, I highly recommend); the pages are thick and SMOOTH. Like no other paper I’ve ever written on. Not simply because of the smoothness but just the feel and texture of it too. So I went on a hunt for regular, plain journals with this paper in it. I went to craft stores to take a look in person and some thicker types of journals just didn’t feel the same (even though it was also 120 gsm) so I knew I had to be careful. Now the problem on Amazon was that most of the higher quality journals out there are gonna be 100 gsm and even when I searched specifically for 120, I still got more results for 100 than 120.EVEN WHEN YOU CLICK THE SAME PRODUCT, to a different color or bundle, it sometimes changed from 120 to 100 gsm.So I carefully picked this bundle of 3, and it came as described! When buying these products, I would say be careful of the quality and the size you’re looking for. I thought A5 could be too small for me but I bought it anyways to see (and I knew I would use it either way), but it turned out great. It’s a good size for me. I’m using it for handwriting my final copies of my notes and examples from textbooks (I’m a college student). The pages are dotted, size A5, and hardback with soft leather and has a strong bound spine, as described. Came with the pen holder, 2 ribbon bookmarks, and elastic band to keep it closed. And the pages smooth like butter. If you’ve used the Clever Fox products before, you know what I’m talking about— this is the same exact paper that’s in those planners.HIGHLY recommended if you’re like me, and you like good quality paper or write really hard on the page. I personally only write in pen, and I write OFTEN so these are a match made in heaven for me. I journal, take notes, sketch ideas, create lists and plan everything on pen & paper, so I love me some high quality paper.-just a regular Amazon shopper, student, avid writer, and office supply enthusiastHope this helps.

Great Value - darker dots for those of us without perfect sight
My wife and i go through several journals every year. And every year we struggle to sort through the options to pick the next batch. This year i bought/evaluated 4 different dotted journals for the upcoming year, all different brands, and compared with an older official Bullet Journal: - Maleden - Omeya - Scribbles That Matter - MoleskineRequirements: - A5 - dotted - 2 bookmarks - 120gsm - back pocketShow-through was tested by placing a stark black/white paper behind one page. This does not show the bleed which happens due to paper porosity or coating, but does give some indication of what might show through if using standard roller and gel pens. Each of the 5 actually seemed to be fairly high quality. The official Bullet Journal had the nicest extras, such as peel-and-stick labels for months/days/etc. but also the most show-through. This year they have 120gsm paper, but it is possible my older journal had thinner pages. This Omeya brand had minimal show-through. It also not only had the best contrast (most visible dots) but turned out to be almost the cheapest as well. It came in a pack of 3, which came out to just over $6 per journal. For my purposes, this came in a very close second, with the Maleden winning simply because it was $1 cheaper per journal. In the end, I kept both the Omeya and Maleden sets. After close scrutiny, I believe this and the Omeya to be the same journal - from the printed fonts down to the number of stitches in every place they existed. The Omeya printing was darker by an almost imperceptible margin ... The Maleden came in a pack of 7, and was a less expensive per journal - but the Omeya came with a couple of sheets of plastic stencil templates and a ruler.

I love these journals!! They’re such good quality. The paper is thick enough that my markers and highlighters don’t bleed through.

Perfect compact bullet journal
Great quality, love that the pages are numbered. The "feel" of the paper is smooth and it's just thick enough. I will be stocking up on these!

Great deal for 3
My daughter likes these better than ones she’s purchased at local store. The stencils are great, too…. Nice addition

Good value
The dotted grid is perfect—not too dark to overpower your designs, but clear enough to keep your lines straight. The paper quality is decent, especially for the price. For regular pens and fine-liners, it holds up just fine.
