Excellent product lots of components that are useful, but
THERE IS NO INFORMATION REGARDING WHAT BLADE IS FOR WHAT JOB!!!! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO HELPFUL IF THERE HAD BEEN AN INSTRUCTION LISTING ie:- WHAT BLADE CUTS WHAT. AS NOT EVERYONE IS AN EXPERT IN DIY. IF THERE ARE ANY INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE WOULD DEARLY LOVE TO HAVE IT. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SEND INSTRUCTIONS TO MY E-MAIL ADDRESS I COULD DOWNLOAD IT. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.David J Clark.

Good, but could have been better.
I bought this hacksaw set for no particular reason. I've always managed with old hand-me-down tools most of my life. Most are rusty now and of very little use. So I've been slowly updating all my tools one by one. I particularly like sets that come with their own casing as they are easier to store and keep in mint condition. This hacksaw set comes in a nice moulded plastic case with its contents nicely clipped into place. First impressions were good. Unclipping the hacksaw itself though was a little disappointing. It feels awfully light and the black parts look roughly coated. Apart from that, it is certainly is firmly constructed and looks like it'll take a bit of abuse. If you're looking for a hacksaw for heavy use then I would suggest this is not the one for you. It's more of a hobbyist hacksaw for fine cutting of a wide range of materials. Apart from the large wood cutting blade, the blades are very fine. Unfortunately, the instructions supplied are very sparse in actual information as to the best blade for which material. Fine if you know what you're doing but for the occasional user some information would have been helpful.Overall, the set is nice, probably worth the asking price but let down by the lack of decent instructions.

What a really useful saw
I must admit I wasn't looking for this when I searched for a new saw. I needed something for cutting the small pieces of material an electric tool would destroy but I never thought I would use it so much. The large toothed tool has been perfect for cutting insulation for my shed walls. Normally I would use a Stanley blade but this saw was exactly the right tool for the job.

Disappointed by quality of item
This was bought as a Christmas present and had not had any use until last weekend. With a blade in place to cut through a metal grid the part holding the blade at one end fractured and the blade fell out. This was cast metal and did not hold up to the job of holding the blade in place. My old fashioned hacksaw although over 25 years old was more reliable. Unfortunately I didn't try it in time to return it via Amazon.

Does the job! Definitely recommended!
I bought this hacksaw for cutting several metal curtain poles in my house (approx 0.5mm thick). I was able to cut the poles without sweating too much and with a good precision (not a clear cut though). Comes with its box and a wide set of different blades. For metal and wood you have 5 replacements blades in addition to the one already in the hacksaw. Highly recommended!

Great for cutting branches in the Garden
I ordered this as it was on prime, the branches on a few trees in the garden needed to be cut/trimmed back, this did the job perfectly, there was a separate attachment for wood and it worked seamlessly. I am pleased with this purchased and having it delivered so soon on prime was a bonus.

Great item in nice case
I received this hacksaw set for Christmas and I could not be happier. It is not something I already have but one of those things which you frequently need but never have quite the right one and end up making do or dashing out to B&Q for! It contains blades suitable for various materials including metal and tiles and has already come in useful for my recent project of adapting an integrated fridge door attachment. I highly recommend it.

If like me you need to cut a tile - Don't even bother
I needed to make a precision cut into one floor tile and so bought this set as it includes a blade advertised as suitable for the job. Put simply slow going doesn't quite cover it. One week on and from regular shifts I have managed to progress approx 1.5 cm on each side. I have googled the best angle/technique etc and even tried it on some cheap, thin kitchen tile i had left over and it makes equal progress. All I can describe it as is that I now know how Andy Dufresne must have felt digging that tunnel in Shawshank Redemption... 3 stars because the rest of the kit is passable however the product quality doesn't feel like it matches the price
