Oil Based Pomade

For reference, I have thick, fine, straight blonde hair. I love this stuff. The hold, the scent, the shine. It's perfect for my hair type, and the hold is strong but still pliable. It's perfect for pomps or just slicking your hair back. Something I love about it is that I can restyle my hair throughout the day without needing to reapply - the stuff just stays in. It smells great (kinda citrusy), and the scent is quite strong; I like this. The only drawback is that this stuff is pretty hard to get out. It does not come out with water like Suavecito's water based pomades, nor does it come out with shampoo in one wash. I'll find I often still have a bit left in my hair after a shower at night (which honestly isn't a problem for me, makes styling the next day easier, lol). This pomade can literally stay in your hair for days. Be aware of this when using! Overall, it's fantastic for what it is. A firm oil pomade with fantastic shine and stellar scent to boot. Just know that it won't wash out easily!

If you’re looking for a traditional pomade, this is a great one. Just three ingredients; petrolatum, wax, and fragrance. Use a lot for a slick look or just a little for hair moisturizing. This is more than something like Tres Flores in that it does have a wax for control and hold. Nice scent, not too strong. Amount of hold will depend on variables like hair type and weather. I use a small amount and find that it washes out easily with my regular shampoo. The metal can is a nice touch and good quality.

The pomade works amazingly in the hair as being an Oil-Based it won't dry like the Water-Based products Suavecito also sells. This comes with the added benefit of potential restyling throughout the day should anything happen to your hairstyle. This feature of restyling does come at the cost of being somewhat difficult to wash out of the hair although this product leaves the hair much better than Murray's for example. The breakdown and application work fantastic providing great hold throughout the day although with the hold being a medium might work poorly for longer and more unruly hair types. The scent is also similar to the standard Suavecito water-based but does not last as long as I would like which is why I docked it from a 5 to a 4-star rating. One purely cosmetic feature of the product is the fantastic quality and presentation of the container (With this container being similar to the one utilized by the classic Murray's Pomade) which seems sturdy while maintaining an amazing presentation that would look fantastic if you happen to leave it on the countertop. Overall the product's low price and great quality make it a fantastic addition to anyone's hair product lineup and one I would recommend despite the lack of a long-lasting scent and lower hold.

This is a wonderful product. First off, scent is great. If you have thick, wavy hair this product is a game changer. Makes hair very manageable and easy to style without that stiff, old school aqua net feel. Leaves hair with a natural healthy shine. Not greasy at all. It lasts all day and allows for restyling! Would give it 6 stars if I could!

Oil based! Very thick and long lasting. Doesn’t wash out quickly, which I like. It allows me to comb and fix throughout the day and maintains hold, unlike most water based pomades.

Coming from someone who rarely ever uses any type of hair product, this is the real deal. I detest the hard, sticky feeling of hair gels and mousse so I decided to try this. First off, it smells great....very manly and the scent stays with you for quite a while. Sure, it's greasy but it's very easy to work with and surprisingly easy to get out of your hair when done (just put conditioner in your hair and let sit for 15 minutes, rinse & shampoo and voila, 90% of it is gone). It holds up quite well throughout the day and if not, it restyle very easily without the use of water. This product is exactly what I have been looking for! I'm 43 years old and realized that I, unlike all my friends, am not going bald at ALL so I figured I'd better make my hair look good!

Bastante buena, en lo personal pensé que solo empelmazaria el pelo (al ser una pomada base aceite) pero no, realmente es bastante buena, te deja un cabello manejable cuando seca, mi cabello rizado tuvo unos rizos bastante definidos y ordenados, si tuviera que decir algo en contra, es difícil de lavar, por lo demás, pienso que es perfecta, incluso más que las de base agua

High shine and strong hold

I have used other pomades and they are good but this one is the best yet for me, it is easier to wash off the hands and its consistency is lovely. I have noticed a lovely shine too and it works into the hair nicely, and obviously being a real Pomade it lasts, I love the design on the tin too. I am going to use this all the time now.
