Absolutely awesome.
If you run Mac, you need this. Stop paying Apple the high price of storage. This external drive is simple to use, small, compact, travels well. It is aluminum, which helps to dissipate heat. Extremely well made. The best external I have ever used. The price is an exceptional value. Also easily works with IOS for iPhone and iPad. Instructions says it can be formatted for Windows. Highly recommend.

OWC quality at its best!
I own several products from OWC. This drive is really convenient because of its small size and high storage capacity. No difficulty hooking it up and getting it to work immediately. Also it provides very high transfer speed.

OWC NVME hard drive is awesome!
Added a lot of needed hard drive space to my computer. My computer runs recording software sessions from the hard drive perfectly! I was impressed by the size, I didn’t expect it to be so small, very portable.

fast, convenient, has improved my workflow
Fast and convenient, this is how I handle all my major projects now. The same set of files travels together with me from desktop to laptop, home office to hotel to RV. The short lag time (compared to any spinning disk) has improved my workflow efficiency. I also have 4 TB versions of this device. When traveling I take up to six of these, they pack into the same space as a single pocket drive.

Great mini Drive
This drive is very small but is very fast. Got this to backup an iMac M3 and it does that is just a couple of minutes.

Qulity Product for Mac Users
Fantastic. This was highly recommended for Mac back ups and Time Machine. My previous Crucial SSD was OK but every few months it would hang and had to reformat it. SO after a while I just gave up. I have used this OWC now for about two months on a Mac PowerBook (M4 Pro chip) for Time Machine backups. It has been humming along doing its job- no reformatting, crashing, or anything. I also like the compact size (1.5"x2.75:x0.375") along with the nice cable. I have checked the read/write speeds and though I could not get 1000 MB/s I came extremely close to it. So very satisfied with the speed. It would have been nice if the case design looked different, aesthetically. The aluminum look is very industrial and not jazzy. Still, I recommend it for Mac users.

Works with a MAC
Wanted something to use with Mac's Time Machine. Wanted to be able to restore the computer if something happened and backing up files to the cloud isn't the same as Time Machine. This did the job. Only took under 10 minutes to back up my entire hard drive. Granted its a new MAC so there's not a lot on it. The drive told me I should have bought a larger drive, twice the size of my current hard drive, but it's fine for what I want.
