It does, but I was gutted when I opened the package and found a 2 1/2 inch black mark right across the cats face and another one under the flap of the same length. It was obviously placed in its packaging like that as the packaging itself was in perfect condition. I tried to wipe it off with a wet sponge but that didn't work so I used to wet wipe. Unfortunately that not only removed the black mark, but also the colouring of the cat that was underneath. A bit of handiwork with felt tip pens and I managed to get it looking sorta new! I've just taken the risk of ordering 2 more of these for my young niece and nephew who wants the same case but with different animals. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these don't arrive damaged or I'll have no choice to send them back for a replacement, something I should have done with the one I received. Great case other than that. I love the design and it definitely protects my 3DS. The long lasting-ness of this quality seems questionable. It feels good, but also a little tacky? It's little paws are both a positive and a negative, though it's super cute knowing my heavy handedness I'm also afraid of myself tearing it off. It's attached to a piece of leather like material about 1cm wide, I don't know, still questionable. Some people may have a problem with this next bit, but the game cartridge holder is a strip of fairly thick velvet material. It's not particularly stretchy so I'm weary that it might stretch out easily. I don't have many games for my 3DS that I intend on carrying around, so it's not a problem for me at all.The adorableness of the whole product makes up for a lot, it's so soft I could cuddle it!****Edit: however I've already lost half of the buttons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute Panda *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2014* I bought this case to hold my 3DS XL and the couple of games that I play regularly. It does the job, as everything fits in compactly. I could not decide between 3 and 4 stars because, although it functions ok and the panda is cute, I am a bit dubious about the quality of the material it is made from and I am not sure how long it will last. The outside is made from what feels like cardboard covered in a plasticlike material. The panda's paws are sewn or stuck on top of the cover so they move when you touch them and could come off if subjected to heavy use.The inside is covered in a nicer, softer material and it has a small strip of velvetlike material to hold game cartridges.
