The old, undersized central air was not cutting it. I spent a while researching mini split units and decided to go with Della. Having never installed one before, I read a bunch, watched a lot of video, went for it. Took my time, took two days to fully install the three indoor units, in very hot weather. If you are a DIY'er, I would not hesitate to install one of these. Bending the copper, just take your time, support the bending, all good. One unit is not on an exterior wall, I tried two different pumps, one did not work at all, the other was questionable, I ended up doing an alternative drain hidden in closets to the garage and the washing machine drain, much better! If you can, forget about the pumps and figure a way to drain using good 'ol gravity. Saves you money, works better, no additional maintenance issues.The kids, having their own control of their room, and with their doors never left open, these units work so much better. Using the app on my phone I can see just how cold they keep their rooms. Quite cold!! Once the room is cooled, the unit is really not working much to maintain that temp. Still waiting for my first bill!! :)

Not as easy of an install as I would have liked but definitely doable. That's the only reason it's not getting a 5 star, I feel like something I order off Amazon should be very DIY. The product cools great and it's quiet inside and outside. I did have to order the 50 foot kit to get all 3 units hooked up where I wanted them.

Got this and the 12k btu head didn't have enough freon. The company replaced the condenser and it worked for a few weeks. Then ice build up on head units not being used even though no leaks. Turn all 3 units on and worked fine but goes cold to cool (45° to 60°) from head. Set B to 79° but the room goes to 70°. Honestly, so many issues is not worth the savings off a mr cool. 2 star instead of 1 because customer service was really good at getting back to me

della does not hold temperature, No matter the setting it gets way too cold or way to hot on heat. It has no idea to how to be comfortable or maintain. I contacted support and refused return, they offered me a new thermostat which did not fix anything. I installed myself 100% correctly. It will freeze out or cook me but requires me to be home and constant monitoring to use. I also bought another cheap mini split on amazon a leto and it works flawlessly with heat/auto or ac
