I was gifted a free body camera and for the life of me I cant find any other way to wear it as a body cam. Most body cams come with a clip style clamp.So unless you wear a bulletproof vest like the police wear with a ton of areas to clip or clamp onto you have no other way to wear your new body camera. I bought a few items that I thought would slide into the back of the camera but everything I tried didnt fit. Looks like a regular camera mount but its not, it’s a super thin mount compared to normal.So this Maxkey body camera magnet mount is a life saver!With the Maxkey magnet mount I can wear my camera on my chest no matter what I am wearing or what I am doing.Just yesterday it was on my white leather jacket as I went for a beautiful beach cruise on my scooter. This mount is basically two identical silicone pieces, each with three magnets in the shape of a triangle. The magnets are OK, but not strong enough to hold on through thick clothing. The magnets did work well for mounting a body cam to the side of my truck while parked.The large size of the mount makes it suitable for any size body cam, but tends to make mine look ridiculously large. Due to the size and shape of the magnets, I can't use the mount on my work shirts without interfering with my chest pocket.The rubberized material is strong and the unit is durable. It is easy to mount a body camera to it using the camera's clips or straps.

It fits perfectly in this.It worked well with a jacket, being stable enough and not uncomfortable. I tried with just a lightweight t-shirt and it drooped due to the weight of the magnets.I really like flexibility of using magnets. They are quite strong and can hold on almost anything. I folded a light towel 6 layers thick (1/3 inch) and it held through the thickness pretty well vertically.The slot can hold a clip 1.33" wide.
