Our tree tubes are made of a polyethylene material that has just the right color and density to promote good tree health. Easy Installation After planting the tree in accordance with proper tree planting directions, pound or press the stake into the ground at a distance from the tree equal to about one-half the diameter of the protector. Then slide the zip ties over the stake, while pushing the tube to the ground. Finally, pull the zip ties tight and your tree is protected. The stake should be on the side of the tree toward the prevailing wind; e.g., if the prevailing wind is from the west, the stake should be on the west side of the tree. The top of the stake should be several inches higher than the top lock tie that secures the protector to the stake. Provided in a nest of five tubes ranging in diameter from 3.5" to 4.75"

Good for small trees.
We planted 125 bare-root seedlings, and are installing these to protect them from rabbits and deer. They were shipped stuffed inside each other, and I have some trouble getting them apart. (I'm an 87-year-old woman. The men do it easily.) We staked some, and used wire staples for others. We get a lot of wind, and so far they are staying put.

Pleasantly surprised. No issues. They are different diameters so they nest in box ok. Came with heavy duty zip ties, I used 36" metal stakes made from election campaign signs for the 24" tube. I will use these going forward planting pawpaw seedlings in the field.

Very good quality
Very good quality tree tubes, like they are seamless, come with their own zip ties and very easy to use.So far, they are holding up well.

My only complaint is that they don’t supply stakes but upon reading the description again that was clear. Easy enough to pick those up

Protection for your trees.
Really great for the saplings I planted. The difference is amazing between the ones inside a tube and those without. The greenhouse effect and protection from rabbits and deer make this item a must.

I used with Bamboo stakes. These are very substantial. If they will hold up to UV light (sun), they should last indefinitely.

double your yearly growth
This product encourages growth (double that of non-tubed), it protects from rabbits, wind, frost and hail. Organic predators flourish down in the tube. For seedling apple trees 3' is the best height but 2' tubes work great to retro-fit older stock.
