Padded rack easy to assembly.

I love this. Simple, easy to assemble, and helps save space in my safe.

While it is well made and holds the pistols perfectly, it is pricey. It is flat rigid foam panels with two rods and some bolts holding it together. While it works and is nice, it's expensive for what you get.

This gun stand is made of high quality, durable foam. Assembly is easy and intuitive. No instructions are included but they aren't really needed. Just look at the picture of the completed product to know how it goes together. Once assembled the rack accommodates 8 pistols of various widths. Because the stand is very lightweight, you'll want to make sure the pistols are placed in the stand to ensure the stand doesn't tip forward. This would be perfect for a safe or a table when at the range. Recommended.

Let me start off by saying this storage rack isn't terrible, it's just not great! I know, that's pretty insightful. Let me explain.It would be difficult to make a pistol rack that is one size fits all, pitstols are not one size fits all. That being said, this one tried. It's close. Most of my pistols sit in this rack nicely, but some are way too small, and on some the dimensions are just off making the pistol not fit.This rack is constructed of foam. It's not real strong. It's okay for using as a temporary storage, but I wouldn't try to pick it up with pistols in it. I'm not going to try this, but I would guess you'll end up with pistols falling all over.Overall, it's not terrible. Mine is going onto my workbench where I work on my arms. It will be a good temporary holder while cleaning & doing maintenance.For the cost, it's an okay temporary storage, but if you're looking for long-term storage I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This holder comes flat packed, but assembly is very quick and easy, put screws in one end of each rod, slide the rods through the holes in one end piece, then add spacers and dividers until they're all in, then put the last 3 screws in and snug them all. Done.It's fairly rigid, so moving it shouldn't be a problem (not that I plan to be moving it around) I filled mine with a variety of revolvers and autos, small to large, and everything sits nicely, can't make contact with each other and is easily visible from the door.A nice addition to the safe.

This is a handy rack for keeping pistols organized, but it has its pros and cons based on personal experience.First, it's made from lightweight foam with a few metal guide rods running through to keep its shape. Very straightforward to put together and it makes it easy to move around. I actually really like the foam construction as it offers some nice, padded protection for the guns compared to a similar wooden style rack that I have. This fits much nicer on a shelf inside my gun cabinet because it's more compact and compared to the wooden one, doesn’t have the extra drawer or height which is great for my smaller storage area.The downside to the foam is that they aren’t quite strong enough to keep full-size metal frame handgun or revolver standing upright securely. If it's placed in the middle of the rack, it kind of leans or tips over into its neighbor. Also, if your handgun has a light or optic attached to the front or under the barrel, the barrel won't be able to rest on the ledge, and it might not fit well in the slots provided if its longer than about 5 1/2 inches.Overall, this is good for organizing handguns inside your safe, especially if you have smaller or lighter firearms without attachments. If I were to buy again, I'd stick with the foam model here versus other wooden styles, but I'd get the 6-slot rack instead of the 8, just to save some space for other things as not all the pistols need to go in here.
