A really good Knife Sharpening Stone Kit.
I have been sharpening my kitchen knives using a whetstone for many years, it is the best way to keep a very sharp edge which makes them safer to use and prolongs their life. My current, well used, whetstone is well worn and the TechBest Knife Sharpening Stone Kit makes a great replacement with four grades of grit, a flattening stone and a lovely bamboo base, I have no use for the leather strop or angle guide. With the right technique this kit provides everything you need to keep your kitchen knives sharp. Recommended whether you are new or experienced with using whetstones.

Great set but technique is a must
This sharpening set costs £19.99 (at the time of review) and you get a lot for your money. 4 grades of grit stone (double sided), a "leveller" stone, a wooden holder (with rubber insert for the stone), a leather strop and an angle guide. The leather strop is cheap and possibly not real leather and the guide is only useful for smaller knives (not adjustable) but the set as a whole is great for beginners. The stones wear away quickly (as designed) and sharpen my carving knives really well so far.I would highly recommend looking at sharpening technique videos if you are new to sharpening because it doesn't matter if you have all the tools, but your technique is wrong.

Good value sharpening set
I've previously only ever used the type of knife sharpener that you draw the blade through. I've always felt unsafe doing that but also that it seems to shave pieces of the blade off.The package is very weighty indeed, mainly due to the two sharpening stones. Each of this is double sided which provides for 4 grades of grit. Also included are a leather strop for polishing, a flattening stone, a silicon holder, bamboo base and sharpening angle guide. The grit stones are soaked in water for around 5 minutes prior to sharpening and then simply rinsed afterwards. There's something really satisfying about sharpening knives this way! It's easy and effective.Good results from a set that is really good value for money.

A very good beginner's sharpening kit, but lacking instructions
A correctly hand-sharpened blade is a thing of beauty. And this is a really good kit to get started with hand sharpening all manner of knives and tools, including chisels. The stones are good quality and provide a good range of grits, the holder/tray is good quality and nicely finished, and the accessories are OK too. The reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is the total lack of instructions. That aside, with a little research and practice you'll soon have wonder-keen knives and tools!

Finally able to get knives really sharp. Used properly it's much better than pull through sharpeners
This sharpening stone set has finally allowed me to get my knives really sharp. Used properly, it's much better than pull-through sharpeners. The complete kit includes everything needed for effective blade sharpening, from premium quad grit stones to a leather strop for a mirror-like finish. The high-quality whetstone, made of professional-grade white corundum, is versatile and suitable for most sharpening tasks. It works great on kitchen knives, scissors, blades, and even axes if you have any lying around. The set is easy to use—just soak the stone in water, and the angle guide helps maintain the correct blade angle effortlessly. The non-slip bamboo base ensures stability during sharpening, providing a safe and efficient experience. Overall, this set is a fantastic tool for keeping all my blades in top condition.

Good kit for the price
I'm pretty new to whetstone sharpening, so this is far from an expert evaluation, but this seems to be a well-equipped set for getting started with sharpening in a much more controlled way than with many cheap sharpening gadgets out there. I am starting with less valuable knives until I get a good feel for the process, but I'm really pleased with a set that provides 4 grits of stone, a base in which to mount them, an angle guide (though only one angle, so you may need to check if it's suitable for more expensive blades in your collection), a leather strop and a levelling stone to flatten the surface of the whetstones. There is mention of using the strop with polishing compound, but this isn't included in the set, so you may want to purchase some. There are no instructions, but this is better gleaned from online video demonstrations anyway, and I felt much more confident having the angle guide as a starting point. At £19.99, I think this is a really nice introduction to knife sharpening. I'm sure there are better sets out there at higher prices, but for this type of entry level set, it seems to be one of the better priced ones.

No instructions
No instructions on how to use and after a lot of faffing around/u tube video managed to operate the equipment…very slow long winded procedure with not a satisfactory result…..must be something better than this!

The media could not be loaded.
