WAudio AC Power Filter Power Conditioner - AC Power Purifier with Surge Protector

Little to no info online, so I'll share what I've found. Quality construction and does what it says on the tin. Once I worked out some kinks (see below) I noticed a significantly lower noise floor between mic, interface, and cans. That being said, it had some weeeeiiiird kinks, and I had to try about 4 different combinations of how I plugged in my computer, USB hubs, audio interface, lamp, and external HDD enclosure. Before I got it right, really strange things were happening to my audio. I've no idea why. Nothing in my prior experience or knowledge explains why the sound would start to smear out over time, like jam spread slowly over toast. The lower noise floor I cannot scientifically attribute to the unit alone, as I took the opportunity to re-route all my power cables away from all my audio and video cables, whereas before they all disappeared down the same hole in my desk. Cable management is SO satisfying when done well, is it not? Anyhow, ymmv. I also don't know how the phase indicator is supposed to work. Mine is lit, but it looks half-lit, so my gut tells me that means it's getting a signal that's both in and out of phase, but moving things around didn't change that. I probably should've mounted it the other way round, or not so close to the underside of the desk, but until I know for sure I'll stick with what's working. I think a clue I found on the Asian version is to make sure to use enough of the filtered outlets. At first I thought I'd save them for something special, but usb3 generates a lot of noise (look it up) and I'm still repairing my hafler so no hifi review at this time.

Se nota una diferencia notable en la calidad del audio, la compré más como protección que como acondicionador de sonido, pero logró darle más claridad a las frecuencias altas, ampliar el escenario sonoro y la imagen estéreo. Las frecuencias bajas suenan más definidas. Lo uso con Cambridge Audio y bocinas Focal.

After reading and watching good reviews on this power conditioner I decided to take a chance and buy it (also bought a 1m w audio power cable to go from this to the wall) I am replacing a Monster HDP 2500 power conditioner. The difference is night and day. The W-3900 just changed my whole system it is smother much more dynamic and the bass is absolutely incredible now. Iam using Kef Ls50's and I was considering buying a subwoofer to pair with them but it is not needed anymore. I also have SVS ultra towers and everything got boosted mid, highs and bass. My system sounds good all the time now, where before with the monster there would be peak times of the day it would sound good and then just terrible where I would have to shut off my system. The build quality is also very good anything you plug into it is very tight. For $250 it is a great upgrade.

Excellent AC power conditioner/filter. No need to spend thousands elsewhere to get what this product delivers. Certainly tightens up bass, provides more mid range detail, better highs to my cd transport, DAC, streamer and Linn LP12 turntable. Highly recommended.
