Extremely biased 5 star :)
I just love these old school Tomb Raiders and having 3in1 is always great. I would still enjoy these games if the graphics were only in original mode. I also own them on Steam/PC. You can play all three games in either modern graphics or classic graphics, modern controls or classic controls so most people should be comfy. You can complete the games as normal first and then after enjoy New Game + if you wish. This lets you wear different costumes and start with more weapons and the items you find in game are different to usual. There is also a challenge mode if you download the update (internet required just for update). Challenge mode lets you re-run levels you have completed with new buffs and debuffs. You can change the types and difficulty of enemies present, how much ammo you start with, various effects on health etc etc. It has a rating system depending on what effects you alter, the more negative effects you add the higher your rating will be, the more positive effects you have the lower your rating is. The idea being for maximum challenge you put as many negative effects as possible and beat the level as fast as possible, or simply just have loads of positives and just have fun. Completing various challenges with a certain rating will unlock an outfit which also has it's own bonus effect. A lot of people complain about this challenge mode but it really is a lot of fun. I don't understand the complaints, its not something that is required to do, if you don't want to play it you don't have to . You can play the original games the original way and ignore all the extra stuff. Now there can be a few bugs so this might annoy you but none I've found are that bad. Also switch version has no achievements but Nintendo players should be used to this. The steam/pc version has like 200+ achievements so it can also be a relief to some that there aren't any .

Great collection of TR 1 to 3.
Not to bad so far. Though it will take time to get used to the controls as I'm used to new games now and play more new games then old. I really like the fact there is a choice of modern and old tank controls though buttons will be different and it can take a bit of time to get used to it either way. The graphics are great on the remasters but you can toggle the graphics from new to old and play the game as the original or in the new remastered visuals which are better because lara looks more like the Fmv graphics. I much prefer TR anniversary personally but I do like the older games aswell as I played them when they first came out. I'm glad that TR anniversary is getting a remake. Wished TR 2 and 3 would get same kind of treatment. There is a collection of 3 games each. This one is TR1 to TR3. All have been remastered and the games have been tweaked and fixed. Age range is probably 16 + age rating. Great value for money.

Blast from the past. Great games
I played the original games on the PlayStation and I can say I am not disappointed with the remastered versions. It takes a little while to get used to the controls but I think that is more to do with the fact they are old games and controls were more clunky back in the day. I would recommend for anyone who loves Tomb Raider and wants it for their Switch.

A product of its time.
Having never played the originals, and always struggling when trying to nowadays due to tank controls, I was pleased to hear that some control issues may have potentially been resolved or at least updated enough for modern day. Unfortunately, the nature of the game and the mechanics can't be fully saved by the newer modern control scheme, it can still feel very clunky (but less so) than the original versions but shooting and aiming in various directions isn't that intuitive for the current day and age. It is a shame really as the work gone into the remasters is clear to see, they have done an amazing job recreating and updating the look and the sound of the game. And it has one of my favourite features in that you can swap between classic and new graphics at the touch of a button which really makes you appreciate the love and care the developers put into it.

Everything you'd want from a Remaster
If you've played the originals from 25 years ago you'll know what to expect. - Classic "Tank" Controls work beautifully even with the analogue stick. - Change from remastered graphics (at 60fps) to original graphics (at 30fps) with the press of a button! - You can save anywhere. - Interactable objects are prompted when Lara gets near.
