Okay, first time buying. I was expecting licorice flavor, kinda like Scottie dogs, but not sweet. Not even close. I did find out that, it was my expectations that were off, not the product. Licorice powder is sweet. And, for all practical purposes, doesn't taste like "licorice". I will say, a little goes a long way. And I'm experimenting on uses. Adding to rich, flavored coffee seems to work. If you're expecting "licorice", you're probably thinking anise, like I pretty much was. I'm not disappointed, just figuring out ways to use it.

This has a wonderful flavor that holds up well. I mainly got it to infuse flavor in my coffee, and it has been amazing. I mix a small amount into freshly ground beans and set it aside for a couple of days, then simply enjoy! This is by far my favorite way to drink coffee now - no cream, no sugar (I never used those anyway), no other additives - just delicious licorice coffee.

Never knew how well this medicinal root would perform with my breakfast cereal. Very nice surprise in the improvement to my skin. Found a lifetime purchase in Mulethi.

You only need to add a tiny bit. And you should like the taste of licorice, too. :-) As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale: Most things will start at 4 stars. It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding. It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality. One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

It has a soft but sweet taste. I know it's used for sore throats and colds. The powder is a very fine powder which is great for smoothies and drinks (Licorice Hot Chocolate). It has a large amount of powder for the price. It easily dissolves well in liquids. I know it's great to have during the cold and flu seasons.
