Took me a while to trust this "baby throne", coupled it with an improvised bjorn for safety
Anytime a kid-carrying apparatus asks me to entrust the little kiddos safety to its quality of manufacturing, I'm always hesitant. Nightmare scenarios of the buckle failing or balance issues causing the kid to tumble play through my head, and frankly I'm not sure I'll ever fully trust this as a standalone "baby holster" and why I instead couple it with an improvised, around-the-chest semi-baby-bjorn, but with the two combined this works pretty well as a chest-mounted "baby throne".Now the kiddo and I can face the same direction with them using my chest as the back of their baby throne as they make their nonsensical baby decrees to all the land."Bring me that rattle!""FOOD! I DEMAND FOOD!""I pooped.""Entertain me!"And so forth. The buckle does well enough to keep the tightness I set it at without slipping and the storage space beneath the seat is enough for a single diaper, a few wipes, and some other baby essentials.I found that loading it up too much resulted in stuff falling out if the kiddo squirmed too much so, if it doesn't fit inside the zippered compartment I'll stuff it in a secondary bag elsewhere.***Overall Value***For a chest-mounted baby-throne, this feels to be of a solid value for the $31 (at the time of review) asking price. Considering the kiddo will only be of an appropriate size for it for a year or two, that feels about right.

Decent knockoff!
This is a pretty decent knockoff! I've used a real TushBaby before and they're pretty similar but lack in a key area: storage. As an elevated seat to support a child without having to hold all the weight in your arms it works wonderfully! The velcro can only fasten so tightly on its own, so the buckle and strap lets you really tighten it up nicely. For me? This is the primary function. I'm not expecting or planning to store much in the pockets other than my phone (which fits nicely in the little zipper pocket on the belt. The storage under the seat element, however, is practically non-functional. You can fit a tiny amount inside, like the size of a tennis ball, but that's pretty much it. The real TushBaby can actually pack a decent amount into the under-seat section. The only other small difference I've noticed is the little elastic loop to "fold up" the belt strap to the seat when not in use doesn't stay closed so well. The elastic and button are a little too loose to keep it securely tightened, but its ok.I'm not a big user of the mesh section for a bottle, so can't comment on that too much. All together, I really love this for the price point and it has made going out with a toddler who refuses the stroller so much easier!

Sturdy and secure
First off I love how much support this carrier offers. It's really obvious that the quality is good. The material is strong and the stitchings are tight. This carrier also offers some padding all around for comfort and provides security and stability. It's easy to make adjustments around a variety of sizes.

Baby is not strapped in
I misunderstood what this was for but will review it as it is intended to be used. I thought I was getting something that would like hold baby in place a little more, this was not the case. It is basically just a really nice fanny pack that you can rest your child on. YOU CANNOT STRAP THEM IN, so you must still hold them. It is a lot less tiring to do because you won't have to support their body weight the same way so I still use it and I think the pockets are well distributed/sized. It feels durable and has been working well for its intended purpose but just make sure you understand the point of it.

Baby Hip Carrier
I love this baby hip carrier, it is such a lifesaver for my back with my child who loves to be held. It is really great for on the go, like going to the aquarium or zoo, anywhere where walking around while holding a baby would start to take a toll on my back and arms. The storage compartments are great, they allow me to ditch my entire diaper bag and just bring the items I need so I don't have to carry so much. It is easy to take on and off and feels very secure while it is on.

For our 20 lb 10-month-old - Excellent!
We use this almost exclusively for the carrying feature. We haven't even put anything in the pockets yet. I assume we will, but they're not obtrusive even if you never plan on using them. We really like this size for our 20 lb 10-month-old who is getting a little fussy about other carrier styles, especially in airports. The rubberized traction on the carrier is a really nice touch, too.

Great for quick ups!
I have a 1-year-old who's walking and likes to go up and down repeatedly - this is great for that, so I have a little extra support to hold him but don't have to mess with undoing buckles or unwrapping when he wants back down. It has pockets and basically functions like a fanny pack too!The trick to these hip seats is to really suck in your waist an put it on tight so that it doesn't slide down and dig into your hip while wearing - this particular one I do still find to be a little diggy. There structure is provided by chunks of styrofoam inside the seat part. The fabric feels a little cheap, but not too bad. The waist has a good range of adjustment. Great to have on-hand or keep in a vehicle for quick ups!

Inner side of belt is black color!
I like darker colors when it comes to baby carrying items/tools.I ordered gray, but the black color is also attractive.I like how this inner side of belt is black and outer side is gray x black.Stylish yet provides lots of pockets and zipper pockets.
