As a volunteer for my local Police Department, I help out at community events. Many times that includes traffic control and this light helps me out in this regard. Actually, the two pack came in handle and I loaned the second light to another volunteer during the Fourth of July fireworks display.The light was easy to hold for hours on end. The magnet on the end was also useful for attaching to steel posts. The rope loop could be longer, since I couldn't put my hand through it. The loop is about 3 3/4" long, so the circumference would be about 7 1/2".The red cone screws onto the flashlight easily, but I wish they would have left the top end opened, vice rounding over the red plastic. This would also allow it to be used as a flashlight at the same time as a traffic light. Plus, the flashlight can change focus from a wide angle to a spotlight, so if the end was cut off and you had it in spotlight mode, you'd have a fairly long distance light for checking your surroundings.We used the flashlights for a few hours and the batteries are still going strong, even though I kept some spares in the vehicle.Overall it's a pretty good unit and seems to be reasonable priced.

The light wands are great. I am an airport crosswalk crossing guard. Great visibility.

These flashlights feel very good quality and are very bright. The plastic orange cones, however, are not heavy duty and feel like they would bend/crack easily. At the end you can tell it very thin as you can easily see the white light through them. Overall, very good for our needs as an airport "ramper" costume.

This wand is a flashlight with a screw-on orange diffuser. The flashlight is solid, seems to be made of aluminum or a relatively decent alloy. The black anodizing finish is durable, and the light held up to being dropped on concrete a few times over a week of use. Battery life is good, we used these for 6-7 hours a day 5 days in a row and the batteries are still going strong after all that.The orange diffuser is made of a thick plastic, and seems to be pretty durable as well. When removed from the flashlight, you can slide the head of the light in and out to focus it. The focus is so sharp that you can see the shape of the diode clearly projected onto walls 30-50 feet away.These are definitely a strong competitor if you are shopping for traffic wands.

I used these to direct traffic shortly after purchasing. Even though it was daylight, the orange wand made it clear what the drivers should do thanks to it's visibility. We were issued a large, heavy lithium battery flashlight, but I prefer these because of their light weight. I directed traffic for over three hours and did not get fatigued.I accidentally dropped one from a height of five feet. No damage. The light and wand continued to work as before. While on break, my colleague used them. As a result, that evening he ordered his own pair.I'm glad I bought this item and would buy it again.

Purchased for volunteer fire department traffic control. Great product and brightness is super for such a compact light.

i purchased these specifically to be used as a traffic wand. for that purpose they work well. the flashlight is well made and the wands install easily and are fairly secure. without abuse they should hold up well. As with most chinese lights these are nothing close to 1000 lumen. sitting next to me 800lm nitecore light it is obvious. i would rate these closer to 2-300 at best with an 18650 battery. the beam pattern is also horrible like most "zoomable" led lights. extremely wide flood pattern that zooms into a chessboard pattern tight beam.both lights came with a 3 AAA battery pack as well as an adapter tube for an 18650 battery. both options work fine. there are no instructions included.if you need a couple of cheap traffic wands these are a good deal. bright enough for night use and somewhat sturdy. they are metal bodies with o ring seals and should be fairly water resistant. if you need an actual flashlight these are much better options.

I direct parking lot traffic at my Church on Sundays and special events. These traffic batons have been tremendously helpful. They really make me stand out day or night. Drivers have no problem determining the signals I am giving them.These are made of machined aluminum and therefore are quite durable. Lights are bright so I don't feel like I'm a standing duck at night. The red traffic cones can be easily removed so they can be used as a flashlight as well as traffic baton. I haven't used the magnetic bases yet but it seems to be a great added extra.

Oh boy were these late! Contacted the seller and they refunded immediately, saying if they arrived, to keep them. 10/10 customer service. The flashlights work, though if you don't push the button "properly" the flicker. The traffic wand attachment is fine enough.
