making the bike look less like it's surrounded by scaffolding
I've owned 5/6 bikes in the last few years with panniers fitted; some of them OEM, some of them Givi sets. This is the first time fitting Shad kit to anything, mostly because the Honda Top box for my NC750X is manufactured by Shad. The pannier rack is designed to fit with the top box mounting arms.I have to commend Amazon for their rapid delivery. Turned up on time, as a prime member, coming within the two days as this had to be shipped I assume from the German warehouse. The kit feels first rate. The plastic is thick and well textured, doesn't flex at all when pressure is applied unlike Givi or Kappa kit. The locking mechanism takes a little getting used to but it's extremely solid, far more so than the push button release on the Kappa K33N I had fitted to a Yamaha a few years back. The 3P racks are far far smaller and less intrusive than the PLX racks used by Givi as well, making the bike look less like it's surrounded by scaffolding. Nice touch! The pannier inside looks pretty spacious and fits my full face helmet with ease. I particularly like the static part of the pannier has a moulded area that fits into the inside of the opening part so things don't just fall out the moment the door is open. The only negative I can think of is to do with the rack for my bike rather than the panniers; they are rather wide. The rack doesn't sit very flush with the rear of the bike. Givi V35 or Kappa K33N panniers have an indent at the bottom so they can sit more flush to the bike, part of it disappearing under the wheel arch. It's not a major concern you just have to be more wary when filtering.Overall top bit of kit, far better quality than most other panniers out there and usefully cheaper too. Cannot fault!

Good quality
i went with shad as they have a subtle mounting system unlike givi, only problem which you will need to think about is getting these if you have a tail tidy. i have a tail tidy on my nc750s with the stock indicators but the boxes press against them so I'm having to change my indicators to led as they are much smaller. this isn't an issue product as its great just keep in mind that it could be an issue if you have a tail tidy

Excellent
Not only do they look excellent on my Honda CB650F they also make shopping in lockdown much more interesting rather than taking the car.The three point mounting system also means when I have them off the bike the minimalist mounting bars are much less obtrusive than say the Givi system. Access to the back wheel for maintenance and cleaning is also much easier with Shad. They are Excellent.

superb value
superb value for money, brought these for my mto9 tracer and they look and work very well compared to some of the other rather ugly square boxes. not a vast size but plenty for my wife and i when we go touring around europe..
