2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. My van has over 300 000KMS on it and I decided to do a transmission fluid / filter change. Looked at OEM filters but was too pricey for an old van. Purchased this filter based on some of the good reviews. With about 500kms after the filter / fluid change I'm happy with the purchase. No issues so far and everything is running great. I did not use the rubber pan gasket that was supplied nor did I change out the filter gasket that it comes with. I used a felpro transmission pan gasket instead and also left the original filter gasket as well. I just prefer not to use rubber gaskets. Just personal preference. The filter looks just like the OEM one and honestly build quality looks to be pretty good. Total install time was about an hour since but overall I'm happy I went with this filter. I would recommend!

Exactly what I needed. My town and country minivan started making a high pitch whine on acceleration. Searching a few places, I found out that the transmission filter is likely plugged. This was a very easy fix. Probably took me around 2 hours from beginning to end. The hardest part is getting the oil level right. You’ll need a transmission oil funnel and the oil level gauge. I saw some people recommend using black rtv. I bought it but didn’t bother using it when I read the directions to wait 24 hours before filling. The rubber gasket in this kit worked fine. One other thing to watch for. If you replace the round gasket adapter on the funnel (included in this kit), take care that it get started evenly. I used a 1” pvc pipe with a soft blow hammer, which fit perfectly. But it got started a little cock eyed and bent the circle gasket. I had to buy another filter locally just for the round gasket. Take your time and get it seated straight before banging it home.

perfect fit for 2019 dodge caravan but I used a felpro gasket.

I used this product on my Dodge avenger fit like a glove. No leaks from the rubber seal. Just don't over tighten the screw. Fuild runs great though the filter Great deal
