When it arrived, I opened it to find a disappointingly chemical smell. Then I see the contradictory label on the package, "CertiPUR-US: Contains Certified Flexible Polyurethane Foam" (see picture). Polyurethane Foam is NOT Latex. Latex is from trees, whereas this smells like it was made from something else. Just google Polyurethane to lean more. Moreover the foam itself is crumbly and has bright green peanut-shaped particles in it that don't look like latex (see attached picture) -- unlike the white/cream-colored natural latex foam that mattresses are made from. In addition, the "plush" cover is somewhat soft, but it is not microfiber, which is usually implied by the word "plush." It looks like a cheap, loose knit (again, see picture). I didn't even bother to open my package further and will probably just buy something from a maternity store where the products are guaranteed to be as advertised. Disappointed in Amazon for marketing and even promoting this fraudulent product without bothering to actually inspect it. Also surprised that others did not catch the fact that the package actually says that it contains polyurethane. No where on the package does it say GOTS certified. There's a home-made paper insert taped to the item, saying "made with a blend of 100% natural latex material" -- curious as to what they meant by that since it also contains polyurethane. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great body pillow *by H***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2019* My body pillow just arrived today and I write this review because I read in earlier reviews about the filling supposedly not being 100% latex, chemical smells and suboptimal fluffiness. That had me worried a bit but I decided to take the chance and order anyway. I'm glad I did because the pillow looks perfect. When it arrives, it needs an hour or so to recover from being compressed in a box during travel. At first glance, after opening the box, it looks flat but that changes within an hour.I love the filling, which makes the pillow fluffy and soft but still firm enough to give support. The pillow has a smell (as in it is not odorless) but it's not strong and I wouldn't label it as 'chemical'. The label confirms that the filling is indeed 100% latex.Besides the filling, what I love most about it is the size. Most body pillows are bigger (and heavier) which for me makes it difficult to move it around during sleep. Also, I still like to be able to reach my partner and not have too large of an object between us in the bed.All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Huge pillow *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2019* I need a pillow for my knees and helps my back. So this arrives and it is huge, it's as if there is another person in the bed. So when one tries to roll over to another side, it's like a wrestling move to take this body pillow to the other side and the blankets get all crazy. My daughter says it smells like balloons (latex). I've tried arranging this multiple different ways but may end up just cutting the size down myself to make it work.
