I wanted something as light as possible, to make it easier for backpack camping. On the plus side, this bag is VERY light, and compresses to a very small size, really easy to carry.He used it on a summer camping trip in Southern California. Even in mild weather, he said he was too cold in this bag. The day they came in the mail, they laid in them on the floor all afternoon amd wanted to sleep in them.I got dark blue and bright blue, colors are brights and very pretty.
