Great for rain or sun
I bought this one as a replacement for an older one which after 6 years was looking slightly grubby and was slightly stretching. But it was a beige one.The old one would have years left and gave given to a friend. This one is better colour fur me and should last just as long.

Still going strong after 3 seasons
Needs to be taut and angled to avoid filling with water. I have two corners of the triangle fixed and the third corner is on an adjustable turnbuckle to get everything nice and tight.Great at sun protection, less so rain, mainly due to the small size we selected - but they are definitely waterproof. Also stops bird dropping and leaf fall on our garden table.Bought two to overlap and fill an awkward corner and they have worked perfectly. They have been used for 3 summers now with no issues. They are taken down in the autumn and machine washed. These replaced a white sail which had badly stained due to mouldy leaf fall - the darker colours tend to fare better in this respect.

More water resistant than waterproof
This shouldn't really be described as waterproof as it does leak during heavy rain. It has decent water resistance for light showers but not for heavy downpours. Maybe some waterproofing spray could fix the issue. You also need to be able to pull it really taught so that water doesn't collect and cause sagging.,

Very well made, strong and looks good
Was a bit worried that the sail would look like an old sheet with lots of creases and wrinkles, so went for the branded more expensive option of Kookaburra, and have been very pleased at how the sail looks after a few days.I think this may be a new hobby though as I've already ordered a larger one, (I have the 3x3M triangle show in the photo) and once it's in place you then get an idea of where you really want the shade through various points of the day.I followed the advice and worked out using my school boy trigonometry skills the mounting points to get a 20 degree angle to prevent water pooling.... but when putting the fixings in the wall did the 'Oh that looks way too steep' and reduced the angle a bit.... and had water pooling! So increased a little as shown and now the water runs off.It isn't obviously 100% waterproof, i.e. the odd drip will come through in heavy rain, but I can't tell you how much joy I've had sitting out in the rain with coffee keeping dry and enjoying the garden and the sounds and smells. If I get a few years service out of this I'll be very happy, seems to be fine in the high winds so far, but think I'll take them down in the autumn.

Well made product, very pleased, But not a actual 3m x 2m Rectangle
You can see by my photo and the manufacturers to be fair, that the shade is rectangular with scooped sides. so just be aware it doesn't provide quite as much shade as a proper rectangle. However the shape is the correct design to enable to to get the right tension. I'm really pleased with it above my hot tub to keep out debris, provide some privacy and insulate the neighbours a little from the noise. top top that i regret not following a little is make sure you have a 20Deg sloe from the highest side to the lowest to force water to run off otherwise it will pool in the middle like mine does. To mitigate this i simply unhook it and take it down if i know the whether is going to be bad. 4 Stars for degree of waterproofing only because i have not had it up in a decent rain storm so cannot judge it.

Waterproof
The sail is very waterproof however, it doesn't matter how much gradience I have on it the rain water still gathers. I have tried twisting the sail and every other variation possible but still the water remains. I appears to be made of a slightly elasticated fabric that just stretches with the weight. If you have any suggestions for me to solve my problem I would much appreciate them.

Brilliant Product but appalling courier service from DX Delivery and zero support from Buyer
I have ordered this product before direct from the same supplier. It lasted over five years before Mother Nature got the better of it. Tried to order direct but none in stock so ordered via Amazon where they had allocated stock. Supplier uses DX Delivery. Item should have been delivered last week. Initially advised there was a failed delivery which was not the case as no card was left. Supposed to be delivered Mon (didn't turn up), Tue (didn't turn up) and Wed (advised it had been returned to depot as driver was 'too busy'). So I have cancelled the order and will only order from this supplier again if they use a more reputable transport company. If you are buying from Primrose,I'd double check to see which courier they are using. Avoid DX Delivery !** Upate ** since this item is now like gold dust I contacted the seller asking if they could send via a different carrier which they confirmed they could / willing to do. So apart from having the captive market for this product within the UK they zero value customer service

Qualité perçue au départ plutôt bonne mais...
Utilisé dans le sud de la France et en Normandie, la couleur passe assez rapidement dans le temps, et le tissus reste trop fin et fragile. Prix correct sans plus.
