Sound is great. Functionality as it should. Picture qualities are good. Works with a usb-c docking station I bought for the hdmi capability to a tv or monitor. Tried it with the Orel hda-912 and works with my iPad.

Great for 4K setups. Currently using this between a Dish Joey 4 and a TCL 4K TV. It handles the 4K signal passthrough flawlessly while providing clean extracted audio. Simple to install and performs exactly as advertised.

Great audio extractor everyone needs one or let me say every tech needs one. It’s made well. Feels great and does its job. It’s got two channel bitstream and TV settings optical 3.5 mm jack and an HDMI port you can’t go wrong.

Had to order 3 different replacements because the ports kept going bad after 3 months of use. You are better off saving your money and learning about how to use chat link cables and adjust your computer audio settings. This was the worst purchase I ever made. I have had better luck adjusting computer settings and literally sharing my audio through my capture card and chat link cables that link directly to my PC audio input port.

Does what I wanted it for (hook the bluray player up to my stereo). Picture quality seems unchanged and the pass-through audio works well. There is however a slight audio delay between the stereo and the TV speakers. Not a showstopper; I just turn off the TV speakers.

My son loves the audio converter extractor and he gives it a thumbs up..

Just outside the warranty period and this unit is no longer working. I have other OREI products, and they work well for what I need. However, this one doesn’t seem to hold up as well as the others. It started with my TV no longer getting a signal, then it would come back intermittently, which is absolutely unusable. At first, I thought it was the cables, but after pulling this out of the lineup, everything worked again (well, except the audio, of course). Sadly, it works well but it doesn’t seem to last, as seen in other reviews. I hold out zero hope since it failed so close to the warranty period. Your mileage may vary, but expect about a year, if not less.
