Remote and display on unit are dim - too dim. But in defense, unit is located on a porch in Florida and at 1PM it is BRIGHT in the porch. The remote works, just too dim to see without placing hand over as a shield, same with readout - temp set - on unit, but would not use remote on the porch anyway. I could see using it in a bedroom - then you could see the remote - works great in dim light - so you would not have to get out of bed if you wished to change temp/fan/timer......Quiet - porch is about 260sqft, single pane 50" tall windows all around three side with two single pan glass sliding doors, sloped single roof, NO insulation in the walls which are only 29iches tall - took heat and moisture out of air at 1PM - hot part of day - made it comfortable at 83 degrees to sit in chairs on porch within 30 minutes and is still cooling down.Install was NOT using the window adapter parts, cut a round hole through wall to outside and another also angled down for drain to outside - no water to empty and no window to worry about - flex tube they supply is 6" exactly so used a nice damper dryer vent outside. Porch was unbearable before install. Amp draw is fine for the 15A circuit shared through wall in bedroom.Would buy again - came today, installed in 1 1/2 hours, so far exactly what I needed. Cheap too. Happy :)

I have slider windows and bought for my bedroom. The base window panel without even adding the extension is too tall for the window. The minimum length was not disclosed in the ad. Before I realized that I tried to assemble the exhaust hose. The bracket for the window side would not screw on and kept falling off. The set screw to attach it to window panel is too short and doesn’t hold it on. The power cord is not long enough and instructions say not to use extension cord (not disclosed either on ad.) I got the return authorization and carefully repacked in original packaging. Tracking shows the return was received 5 days ago, I have proof of delivery and zero change on refund status or acknowledgment received. . No option to contact the seller. I finally got to Amazon by phone who acknowledged the return delivery date and tried to contact the seller. I said I will just file a dispute with my credit card if it can’t be resolved today, and then the rep got authorization to refund. Very frustrating experience. I purchase a lot from Amazon, at least they did refund it.

This little unit is mad powerful. My husband never uses a blanket or covers but this little grelife made him draw for the comforter. The noise is workable u barely hear it n as a result doesn't affect ur sleep, it cools quick n very compact I must say it performs beyond any n all my expectations. At first glance u may underestimate it but size isn't always everything it is small , very cute n POWERFUL 😊 I LOVE IT n my Puppy does too.

This AC does a decent job cooling but the drain hose is too short and my window is up high so I can't drain it outside. I have it draining inside and it fills up a 10 gal bucket in 8 hours? Next time I'll stick with window units

This ended up being a duplicate gift, so I had to return the item. I have had the same item before and it worked great.

The people who owned my house before me unfortunately put in an AC unit that was a little too small for the square footage. So when it gets over 85 degrees outside my central AC has trouble keeping up. I bought this unit to place in the kitchen/living room area hoping it would help keep the house a little cooler. Although I know it is not rated for this, I put it in about a 500-600 sq ft area and I can say it does help the house stay about 3 degrees cooler on these 95 degree days. So I call that a win. I have no doubt t that in a smaller space, it would keep the room very cold. I would buy again.

The AC consumes too much electricity not to cool off a room. Even if left on an all-day water waste hose is too short to hang out the window for drainage.

I got this A/C when it was 1/3 off the price, I feel like I stole this item because of the price. This so far is a GREAT deal. The first day I got it, I had it set up and running within 10 minutes, super easy to set up. The first day running it I slept great without sweating. It was quite enough that I never woke up once. Thank you for a great product at a great price. **** UPDATE: Even after several months of keeping my room cool, this hidden gem has not failed to keep my room at 70 degrees while it is in the 100's outside.
