Lens adapter M42 to Canon FD housing. You no longer need to mount an M42 lens on your FD cannon. No chip for focusing aid. The infinite focus is retained. Instructions: Attach the adapter ring to the lens. After that, the configuration is carried out manually, the auto-focus is disabled, but you can adjust the manual focus in M or AV modes. Compatibility: It is compatible with all Canon FD cases and all lenses (42 mm) M42. Please note: The use of the adapter regardless of the model, allows manual focusing and aperture control. There is no communication between housing and lens. To use the case for automatic exposure, it must be used in priority mode. In AV Canon, the recording speed is automatically calculated. Using the adapter ring, the lens works like a 100% manual lens, so make sure your camera has manual control.

It works great on my Canon AE1 Program to adapt some lovely M42 glass. You have to be creative when using the built-in light meter as it assumes the amount of light coming in is what would come in through a wide open f:1.2 lens but that can be compensated for.

Bien mais pas parfait
Bague achetée pour mon Canon AE-1. La bague est en métal de bonne qualité, elle se visse parfaitement sur l'objectif et rentre facilement dans le boitier, mais il y a un très léger jeu entre l'adaptateur et l'appareil qui fait que l'objectif tremble un peu dans la main. Après ce genre de défaut arrive fréquemment sur les adaptateurs, peut être que sur un autre boitier ça n'apparaitrait pas.Je recommande quand même.

Muy firme el encastre. Robusta la rosca.... 👌Aun no he usado mucho. El tiempo dirá, pero mucho mejor q otros adaptadores de 150 euros y quedaba con juego el encastre

Gutes Altes weiter benutzen
Der Adapter ist vollständig aus Metall befertigt und kommt ohne Plastik aus, dadurch wirkt er wertig und solide. Alte M42 Objektive lassen sich ohne Mühen anschrauben. Der Anschluss an den Canon FD-Anschluss ist etwas kleiner als bei original Objektiven sitzt aber fest und hat kein Spiel. Für größere Hände könnte es vielleicht etwas fummelig sein. Alle Einstellungen sind möglich. Die neueren Automatiken (s. Canon A-1 funktionieren natürlich nicht). Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung.

Irgendwie zusammengeschraubt
Der erste Eindruck ist gut. Alles aus Metall und es sieht sauber verarbeitet aus.Ausgepackt und dann an eine Canon A1 angesetzt. Das Objektiv steht dabei leider nicht in der gewünschten Position.Die Blenden- und Entfernungsskala ist nicht mittig oben, sondern über die Position hinaus nach links unten.Das wäre noch zu verschmerzen, da das Adapter eh nur Offenblende zulässt, aber es hat leider auch Spiel am Canon Bajonett.Es wackelt und macht damit den Gebrauch unmöglich.Fazit, da der FD Part klappert und der M42 Teil nicht auf den Punkt gearbeitet ist, nur ein Stern.
