Sloppy quality control on a premium product
I don't think I'm alone on this as other buyers have reported similar grinding defect issues. Such poor grinding and finishing wouldn't be acceptable on a £5 hammer let alone a £35 one. I could have set about rectifying it myself but why should I ? - it has been returned. Come on Estwing, you claim to have been making hammers for 100 years but appear to have learnt nothing in that time.

Poor quality control in this case
Not as the picture shows. Item quality looks like a second as seemed to be unfinished no yellow paint in the estwing name on the handle and poorly ground with a belt strike into the head of the hammer. Disappointing for the price
