Toddlers Love Mini Books
Bought for my 2 year old. The under age 5 crowd LOVES mini books. Just like the normal sized books, just mini. I have normal adult eyesight and can read just them fine, if you are visually impaired these probably aren't for you. They come with dust covers that are a nuisance, so I've thrown them away. The books don't need them. They are great little books - I also recommend the Nutshell Library by Maurice Sendak.

VERY POOR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
I wish to add my voice to those of [many] other reviewers: the actual physical dimensions of this product were not *clearly* emphasized in the product description. Generally, when one purchases a book through Amazon, one expects it to be...book-sized! [Pocket paperback, standard hardback, coffee table, what have you.] When the books arrived - and only then - I discovered they were tiny, maybe 3x3 inches. Upon investigation of the original product listing, I finally discovered a listing of the dimensions - in *one* place: the "small print" of the product details...published way down the page. [It is also worth noting that the published dimensions of these books appear to be somewhat greater than their actual size.]Well - technically, the dimensions were included in the product listing. However - I've been an Amazon Prime member for years now; I buy a lot of books through Amazon and I don't recall ever making any special effort to confirm the size of a book I was purchasing. If I am looking for something very specific, I try to shop by ISBN number...but the truth is, much of my book shopping on Amazon is done on a "browse and buy" basis, to wit - I look up a few authors I like [or titles of interest] and throw what I want in my cart without reading anything more than the description of the books' *content*. Until now, that approach has worked fine. I guess those days are over; If I choose to remain an Amazon customer at all, I will never again purchase *anything* without reading every last bit of the "fine print".In my estimation, the listing for this product amounts to nothing more than deliberate advertising fraud. The picture of the product ["classic library"] depicted the cover of the full-sized edition of the [arguably] most famous book; the product title did not contain the words "mini" or "pocket-sized"; the price seemed reasonable for a set of books for toddlers - in short, there was nothing in the main area of the listing [i.e. the top of the product page that we all see first] to indicate that these books were anything but books of standard size. To me, this looks like nothing so much as a classic "bait and switch" scam: lead prospective customers to believe they are buying one thing when they are actually buying something else. I was very disappointed to discover that Amazon was willing to lower their ethical bar to the level of your average crooked advertiser. My willingness to continue to patronize Amazon in the future is entirely contingent on how they elect to handle this problem.

Don't Buy This Ridiculously Tiny Version!
[UPDATE: just received these "books." I use quotes because they are tiny little favors, not real books. Very disappointed and I feel quite ripped off.]I was born the year Runaway Bunny was first published. My mom had the wisdom to read it to me through my early years, and it was long my favorite. Most readers will be more familiar with Goodnight Moon, which is great. But to my thinking, The Runaway Bunny is more the cultural classic, which tells the story of a little bunny who wants to run away, and his mother who promises to find and love him always. The book addresses the need of every child to practice independence without losing one's parents' love. Its illustrations and prose are lovely: soft, dreamy, and reassuring. Just the right approach to what, for the young child, is an essential challenge in life. I buy this book for every new parent I know.

beware that the collection is miniture
I obviously didn't view the product description because I was dismayed to find that the books and print are very small...almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass!

My daughter LOVES these tiny books!
My daughter loves these books and takes them with her wherever she goes. We've had them for about a year and she is 2 now, and they remain favorite items. They are TINY and that's the point! Children love small things and both my kids love tiny book collections. We read the larger editions as well, but she likes to sitby herself and pretend to read these. The Sendak nutshell library is fun too. These make a great gift, and I buy them all the time for friends with one or two year olds.

Be aware: these books are miniature...
I thought I was buying a regular-sized hardback version of Goodnight Moon (as well as the two other titles that come in this set). It turns out that the books are itty-bitty, only 3"x3". I'm pretty disappointed, but returning them doesn't seem worth the cost.

GREAT COLLECTION....TINY Books!!!
I love all these books and had them for my kids. This set is TINY!!! Barely readable for us Grandma's. Still they are Classics and our younger sons & daughters can still read them....and the babies won't mind the size. :D
