I have a caveat regarding this review: We have only had this unit for less than a month. I usually don’t write reviews until I have used something for a year and sometimes much longer. I will begin with what I find excellent about the kettle.SPEED! I have a one-liter French press, and this is a 1.7-liter, so I estimate my required amount. With approximately a liter, this goes from room temperature to 180 degrees in three minutes. Before I am done washing my French press and grinding the beans, the water is ready. No waiting.LOOKS! This thing is gloss black, and stainless looks gorgeous on the counter.TEMPERATURE SETTINGS! I can set it for various coffees and teas to make the ideal cup.TEMPERATURE HOLD! I have to look at the instruction book, but I think it will hold a temperature for two hours. It also looks as well insulated as a good carafe. So, even with the power off, I believe it would hold temperatures for quite a while.ERGONOMICS! The kettle has a perfect spout, a comfortable handle, and an easy-to-use lid that pops up with the push of a button, perfect for filling it from my RO unit.What my wife and I don’t care for is not necessarily a fault, but it doesn’t work well for us. The unit is large for its capacity, and because of its size and the double-wall construction, it is heavy. My wife is a fit 5’1”, 110 lb, 77-year-old woman. I am a fit 80-year-old man. We both can use the kettle, but it is larger and heavier than we would prefer.I blame myself for the kettle being less than ideal for us. I should have bought the one-liter unit, which would have been smaller and lighter. My bad. I initially clicked for four stars. But since our issue is on me, just read the review and take it under advisement. It’s a great unit.Editied on 8/5/24 It says right on the pot the keep warm feature continues for four hours.

I purchased this to replace an aged standard tea kettle. I had used an electric kettle while vacationing in Europe) so I thought I would give one a try. I chose this one because of the good reviews and because of the 4 hour hold time and the user friendly operating instructions. Additionally it is attractive sitting on the counter next to my coffee maker. I also like the fact that you can remove the unit from the heater base and set it on table or counter. It won’t retain heat for long but it makes it convenient to serve.

I bought this hot water pot because I wanted a plastic one that would not burn my hands when I pour the water. I am very happy with this product. It boils water quickly and quietly, and it has a large capacity of 1.7 liters. The handle is comfortable and stays cool, and the spout is easy to control. The pot also has an auto shut-off feature which are very convenient and safe. The pot is easy to clean and looks nice on my countertop.

This electric tea kettle is awesome! Really easy to use and keeps water hot for a long time. I especially love the size. I'm a big tea drinker so I love how much water it holds. Definitely recommend this product.

If you are looking for a kettle to heat water, I recommend this one. It is very easy to use and boils very quickly. I recommend it 100%.

Originally, I was just looking for a quicker and easier way to get some boiling water than simply a kettle on the stove top. Not only did this electric kettle do that (when it was about half-full, it was going up a degree about every 1.5 seconds) but the added features of choosing a specific temperature to heat the water to is something I didn't know I always wanted. Having the ability to brew tea at a specific temperature was a game changer.This thing works so quickly, quietly, and predictably that I find myself using it more often, too. I also find it nice and sleek-looking. It's not big at all so it tucks away on my counter easily. Plus having the cable management underneath the heating base is extra nice because you only need to pull out as much cable as you need to reach your outlet.Very very pleased with this, and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good, reliable, quick working kettle.
