I am so impressed with the IceWraps Reusable Cold Therapy Clay Pack! This therapy ice pack has been a lifesaver for soothing aches and pains. Whether it's bruises, swelling, muscle sprains, or headaches, this pack provides effective relief. The size of the pack is perfect – 12x21 inches – offering great coverage over larger areas like my back or shoulders. The protective soft sleeve is a thoughtful addition, keeping my skin safe, dry, and ensuring a longer cooling effect without any discomfort. I'm sorry to say I'm an ice pack junky and have way more experience with using ice packs then I'd like to admit. I've used all types and shapes, but this is my first clay pack...and I love it! The first thing I noted is how much heavier it is than similar-sized gel packs. It is very heavy. So keep that in mind with certain places you're applying it. For instance, I placed it on my head to help my headache and the weight of it was too much, so I switched to my gel pack for that. However, the weight can be a benefit, offering much needed compression during ice therapy. For instance, on a swollen ankle the recovery time seems to be much faster because of the weight of the thing in combination with the cold. The second thing I noticed is that it doesn't feel immediately freezing like a gel pack does; it sits on the skin, thoroughly and deeply cooling the area much more efficiently than a gel pack. It feels amazing, almost soothing as opposed to the harsh, driving cold of a gel pack. But don't be deceived, it is VERY cold and does the job better than well! The third thing I noticed was how long the cooling lasts! I'm able to move this pack around to various parts of the body for 10-20 minute increments for nearly two hours and reap the benefits of the cold. It's amazing! This alone makes it worth the buy. Fourthly, the size of this pack is extremely versatile. It's large enough to cover the back top to bottom. I turn it horizontally to go from one side of my torso to the other. It can wrap around an arm, a hip, a calf, and maybe even a thight if you're a smaller build. It has great coverage on the shoulders as well. HOWEVER, it is not as flexible as a gel pack, so trying to get I to nooks and crannies or around the neck is difficult. There are other sizes and shapes of this type of pack for those purposes. Finally, the quality of this pack is very good. I examined it when I received it and it is very well made. I don't think there's a risk of it breaking or leaking at all. The materials are high quality and durable. In short, I highly recommend this product.

This ice pack is really amazing. It's hard to find versatile clay packs, but this one is good quality, thickness, and the perfect size. It can wrap all the way around my knee to get 360° treatment, and it's amazingly large enough to wrap all the way around my foot, ankle, and lower calf all at once so I only need this one ice pack to treat the entire affected area of my sprained ankle. It's also awesome that it comes with its own custom cover that perfectly fits its shape, so I don't need to mess around with protecting my skin with a cloth. The cover is also great for attaching velcro straps to keep the pack in place. The problem with other clay packs is that they don't come with their own cover. I've always been able to get this pack to be where I want it, stay put, and cover everything I need in one go. Granted you do need separate straps, but finding straps is the easy part. Finding a cover is the hard part, and this pack comes with its own. Given that it's clay it also pretty much stays the same temperature the whole 10-15 minutes of application, which I've never been able to achieve with gel. Gel seems to rise 10° F within a minute of taking it out of the freezer, but this clay pack is perfect.

This has been a lifesaver for me. I am a bit of a fitness nut and recently turned 50. I had modified my workout and took many precautions, but continued to have low back and, pardon me, a literal and horrible pain in the butt. After researching physical therapy solutions online I started using cold therapy on my low back. The cold helped tremendously. And this pad was large enough I could double it or fold it in thirds, and flip it to get a fresh second cold side. I could sit and watch TV with it tucked behind me on my low back, or, using a separate back wrap I have, strap this chill pack on for my 20 minute commute to work or while doing the dishes/cleaning up. A visit to the doctor found my issue is low back stenosis. And for me the cold therapy helps tremendously - and I can do it as often as I like. And this flexible cold pack makes it easy. I was looking this up to refer to a friend w/ a knee issue and decided to write a review now because I’m so happy with it. I’ve had it for at least 8 months. No issues. It has been incredibly helpful. I love the large size too. I ordered two so I’d always have a cold one if needed.

It works well. I just wish it stayed cooler a little longer. It works better than any others I’ve tried

I’ve had several different brands of over the years and this one is well made at a competitive cost. I use them for back and knee aches and switch off with a heating pad for relief from swelling and pain due to inflammation and past injuries. Stays cold and flexible. This is so soft but covers slot and keeps cold for w long time.

Excellent ice pack. This is my second one. Nice size and is very adaptable for use where you feel you need to apply ice.
