dumbells
Good quality basic dumbells. I use these in my seniors fitness class and they work great. The rubber over the entire weight is great for the grip, and seniors are able to hold them easily.

Great little weights to do tricep arm exercises
Perfect weights to use for some follow along tricep arm exercise videos. Nice size for a lighter sized weight.

This is what I want
The media could not be loaded. I think this dumbbell set is great and I recommend it. It has a rich composition and a variety of forms, which is very suitable for exercising at home and forming a home gym. The weights are of good quality and the instructions are very detailed, easy to understand and use.

Good compact form factor for the weight and common use
I have these in their 2, 3, and 5 pound sizes. Why does a guy who actually uses dumbbells up to 65 lbs regularly in training get dumbbells of such minuscule size and weight? Because I'm an old guy with a less old wife whose bodies have seen many decades of hard use in the outdoors and in the gym. Few escape the ravages to the rotator cuff that result from years of climbing and swinging a wood splitting maul. So there are certain motions that set off, or are limited by, old, now chronic injuries. Rather than accept that I can't engage in certain training movements (like angled arm raises for the delta), I scale with weight back to what can be achieved without further injury. Continuing with such movements, even at these tiny weights, helps maintain flexibly, form, and neural activation--and in most instances, a warm up with these weights allows for finely graduated increases (say 3, 5, 7.5, 10, 12) within or between a training session. Let's say daily life has already set off an old injury--then I can drop back to (2 and 3) rather than give up working the area at all. So, I approach my assessment of these physical weights from what may be a little different perspective than most. For most, their compact size makes for easier transportation and storage. In my case they are not transported out side my home workout room, but it still makes them convenient to carry about. I you have your dumbbells stored on racks with typical spacing, you'll find that they are no where long enough to fit on your racks. That's OK for anyone less than OC about the organization and storage of their equipment. The biggest physical advantage of their compact size is that it makes for a closer center of rotation. Practically that means it will be less effortful to control any rotation of the dumbbell around the axis of your arm, allowing the load to be limited to the desired direction of movement (lift). That's especially helpful in rehabilitation (though in other circumstances you might wish to be required to employ auxiliary stabilization muscles). I now have 5 lb weights in both this compact and the more traditional form factor--I find I mush prefer the compact.Shaft size is near perfect for my medium men's hands, as well my wife's smaller hands. It is a bit larger than the traditional dumbbell shaft. The textured surface is durable (i have a similar 10 lb pair I have been using for over twenty years on which the textured surface remains almost as new), aids in grip, and is less effected if hands become moist. One reviewer noted a raised ridge running along the length of the shaft. It is likely from the casting process of the iron core. I don't find this a distraction, but rather a feature--aligned with one's joints during grasping, it actually provides a subtle enhancement of grip.Overall, I couldn't design a better dumbbell for these sizes.

Comfortable neoprene coated hand weights
This is a nice set of dumbbells that feel good and are easy to use. The center grip is a comfortable diameter. The ends are hexagons so they don’t roll. They are coated with pale pink neoprene. The neoprene coating provides a comfortable and stable grip in my hands. This provides a grip that is not slippery, and therefore prevents calluses from the weights sliding and rubbing. The coating also prevents rust, and keeps bare metal from scratching anything.

Here to pump you up!
These weights fit directly into a spot where they are accessible by all levels, but worthwhile for your more experienced exerciser/fitness person. The grips are comfortable to hold on for a long time - especially when sweaty. You don't want your weight sort of slipping out of your hands, and the maximum grip quality of these keeps them safe and secure in your hands, whether sweaty or not.Working on a treadmill with these totally amps up the activity level, provided you have good balance and don't need to hang on to the treadmill. I do sometimes - but no judgment! These are just in that right spot to spice up your existing workout, and for that, they are awesome.

Paid for 50Lbs worth of weights but it’s way less
Set comes in Kg, not lbs! Says 50lbs (25 each pair). What I got was only 36Lbs. Maybe the box it’s shipped in weighs that much but not the equipment itself! So disappointed
