These are soooo much better than the other types I've used!! The medium are really big compared to other brands, almost too big but I tried mixing soil and moss this time and there was plenty of room. The drainage holes are nice to have, I have put holes in my other type before so I didn't have to worry about rot but these are at the bottom and work really well keeping the mix wet but not soaked. I love the black and clear sides so you can see the root growth but can have the black side towards the grow light to encourage better root growth. Easy to use and hold together very well. I'll come back after I see some roots and update if necessary but these are going to be my go to products for air layering from now on! Highly Recommend!! I purchased this 9-piece root box set and so far, I’m very pleased with the experience. The packaging was excellent—everything arrived intact and neatly organized. The root boxes themselves seem very well made, with sturdy materials that look like they'll hold up well over time. One thing I really appreciated was the clear and detailed instructions included in the package. They made setup super easy, even for someone relatively new to plant propagation. Everything clicked together smoothly, and they even included the wire ties! Since root development takes about a month or two, I can't speak to the final results just yet. But based on the quality and ease of use, I’m optimistic. I’ll definitely update this review once I see how well the roots develop!
