My second purchase of these as they are so handy. The snap on lid means it doesn't leat, it has an open and close vent on the lid for microwave heating. It can also go in the freezer -as it's plastic and can become hard/brittle, it's recommended to let it stand for a few minutes to allow the plastic to unfreeze a bit before you put it in the microwave. It does get hot to touch as you'd expect (there are versions with handles if you're a wimp). Very easy to wash. I take them to work and also use for batch cooking (that makes me sound like Nigella) and storing prepared fruit etc.The one small down side is that they don't stack, either with or without the lids so do take up more space.I'd buy more if I had room.

As far as food containers go, these are top notch. Well recommended 👍

I have brought many of these. Buying any other in my opinion is a false economy.They last and take some punishment.
