I’ve ordered this over a dozen times, and it’s still my absolute favorite everyday coffee. The Donut Café medium roast hits that sweet spot between rich and smooth — not too bold, not too light. It's ok - didn't give me a headache and the flavor was nice. Took off 1 star because it's not as strong as I had hoped - although to be fair this coffee was not advertised to be a "Bold" or "Dark" blend but I sure wish it was a little stronger. I found I had to use nearly double my normal scoop size to get a good robust cup of coffee - I will buy again because I do like the flavor, it's good and I'm blending it with a darker decaf blend so it gives really good flavor when blended. If you prefer a lighter roast then you'll probably really like this donut blend - I like it and will continue to purchase even though it's not as dark as I prefer...that's how much I like it :)

Being a retired Chief Petty Officer from the US NAVY and having served over 20 years I achieved a level of Coffee consumption and acquired taste over the years that I would say qualifies as Expert level. I have ordered it all from many sources. Veteran coffee not veteran coffee, you tuber coffee...overseas coffee. The only difference between the floofy expensive brands you find and EVERYONE is selling coffee because the markup is CRAZY they buy it in huge bags and then mark it up 300%....but this coffee is perfect. Not floofy. Just amazing coffee for a great and fair price. I don't feel guilty making a pot of this stuff and it has a mellow but good bite to it that keeps me flowing after drinking a few cups. If you like wasting money order to the You tuber marked up 1000% junk that tastes like it has glue in it somehow. But if you like coffee in a cup, hot with your favorite add ins this stuff is perfect. It is so fresh it makes me run around the house with the bag open to get that fresh smell all over seriously may be the freshest coffee I have ever had. Good stuff! Get you some.

Not good at all, not bad though. Tastes like the water I made it with, with a tinge of coffee flavor. I cold brew my coffee. Cold brewed this coffee for 24 hours, tried it, then 48 hours and tried it. The water is darker, but that's about it. I'm a bit disappointed, but when I opened the bag to smell the coffee I knew what to expect. I'm not a huge coffee snob, but I do generally drink Intelligensia, Bones, Dark Matter, etc. I usually don't mind spending a little extra, but the budget is tight right now so I figured I'd give the Amazon brand a shot. That was a shot I missed. If you are looking for something bland and basic, this may be the coffee for you. Not offensive. I guess what you would call an "office coffee," without that sludgy burnt taste. Also, not sure if this is part of the "basics" brand, but it seemed to fit for the title of the review.

I figured i would give this a try months ago as i was looking for a whole bean coffee and I love donut shop flavor But the brand I was using do not have whole bean! I was happy with the size of the bag and the price when it arrived and then opened and the smell was great! I love the flavor Of this coffee and it turned into my new favorite! I put this on auto ship but the only thing I don’t like is the price fluctuates from when I first purchased it was around $12 and then I caught it getting ready to ship at one point and it was almost $17. unfortunately, I took it off AutoShip due to this! I don’t understand why the price will go up so high and then back down again and then high again! I feel like if you’re doing AutoShip, it should stay the price from when you originally started!!!! it’s disappointing when it’s that high and I need coffee and I won’t pay $17 for it so I end up having to purchase something else

A wonderfully bold flavor without bitterness. I do a slow brew, compared to a fast drip, and it brings out the flavor. I'm hooked. I have it on auto order and when I'm out, I know it. Other coffees just don't taste the same. The size works for me. I don't need 15 different brands when one will do. I drink it all hours of the day. The caffeine is not over whelming. The smoothness of any coffee is a must and this brand nails it. The blend is fantastic and always consistant. You will love this coffee.

Amending my review to include the superior light roast. It's a much more enjoyable roast, with none of the harshness of the medium roast, yet still has a full flavor. And still one of the most affordable coffee choices around, especially for a whole bean option. 5 stars for light roast, 3 stars for medium roast. Medium roast. This is a very dark roast, despite its medium roast designation. Smells burnt right out of the bag. Flavor falls flat once brewed, a bit of toast, cocoa, and burnt paper. It's not terribly off-putting, just background. If you enjoy dark roasts or you're looking for a caffeine boost, and enjoy lots of cream and sugar, then this will work fine as an inoffensive choice.
