Bathgate Champions Blend (50L) – Premium, Multipurpose Compost Protects Plants & Provides Vital Nutrients

The compost has a fine texture, not clumpy. I have been unable to get tomato growbags so I have decided to make my own. This is working fine.

This is a great quality compost - perfect for planting seeds. The plastic bags tended to split but as they were supplied in cardboard boxes that didn't cause me a problem.

I purchased this compost as it was recommended by Which. I have had success raising seed in a heated propagator, very pleased. Expensive, but probably worth the price.

I didn't know what to expect when I first bought this brand. It hasn't disappointed me yet and my plants seem happy with it..

Terry Walton recommended Bathgate Champions Blend in 'Garden News' so I thought I'd try it. It's lovely to handle and the seedlings that are coming up are robust and healthy. I can heartily recommend this product.

Used this compost for the first time on Saturday the 25 February and by Wedbpnesday the first tomato seeds had germinated. Since then in less than a week nearly all the seeds I planted have germinated. Although it is expensive compared to multi purpose composts the germination rate is excellent. It was also delivered four days earlier than estimated
