Nice bowls but inaccurate pictures
The bowls themselves are good quality, and the pattern is pretty. However, the listing pictures make them appear to be a bright hunter/forest green. This is not accurate. They are more of a dull olive/khaki green color, which is not the color I wanted.Edit: The company reached out to me regarding my review, and I was very impressed with their customer service. Even though the plates were not exactly what I wanted, I feel confident buying more of their products in the future because I know they care about the quality of their products.

Handmade, organic feel
These dishes caught my eye because of their organic feel. I absolutely love them. They have a substantial feel and I especially like the trim on the rims. These dishes are great for everyday use or they would look equally stunning on a holiday table. I wasn't sure what a reactive ceramic glaze was, but after some research it is a glaze that is fired in a kiln at a very high temperature so that the glaze bubbles, giving each piece its own unique look. But it also makes the dishes impervious to high heat from a microwave or dishwasher. And it appears, but I cannot verify it, that there is a second normal glaze on top of the first which gives the dishes a smooth feel and look. The slight differences in each piece adds character to the set; making them look almost like they are completely hand made.

Cereal bowls are quite deep
This dinnerware set is really classy looking. I was impressed with the quality of these dishes. I can use these dishes in the microwave with no issues. The set comes with 12 pieces..(service settings for 4) The dishes do have a little bit of weight to them due to the fact that the plates are ceramic. The weight might be a wee tad of a problem for someone who has arthritis or problems using their hands. The color of the dishes are nice too. With the brown trim on the edges, it makes the dishes look very elegant.

Average quality
The overall design of the dishes is charming. However, the production is the issue. The dishes should be yellow. They were selected for the color. Instead of being the true yellow pictured in the listing for the product, they are very beige in all different lighting. The pictures in the listing showed a very saturated yellow and these dishes don't even come close. The glazing also has many imperfections when you examine them. Black specks that are very visible when eating are clearly present. This is probably because the glazing is very thin, especially on the bowls. This causes the bowls to actually appear to be a different color than the rest of the dishes. At this price point, I don't recommend these dishes. Better quality can be found elsewhere. The first photo shows the different coloring between the bowl and the plate. The second photo shows the black dots where the glazing was absent in the center of the plate's eating surface.
