Ladybird Favourite Stories

Awesome traditional stories and good illustrations. My 3 year old grandson looks forward to his bedtime stories.

Classic Stories which my toddler loves but have to appreciate the great illustrations and designs that go with the story, really help the little one get engrossed with the tale.

This really is such a special little book. Everything about it is so lovely. The illustrations, the feel of the pages, the stories, the delightful front cover with its twinkly little stars 🌟 My daughter has been mesmerised by each story we've read. Plus I think it's nice to read classic stories that we had when we were growing up and now it's passing those tales on to them. Definitely a must have book on your child's book shelf!

My 4 year old loves this book. Great selection of stories

I don't normally go down the for boy/girl path with books but I liked the stories. I bought this book and the girl version (?!) and between them they cover the stories I remember as a kid. The pictures are lovely and the stories contained can cover young children without scaring them - the wolf in the 3 pigs falls into a pot of water and never troubles the pigs again. "Did he burn his bum and run home to his mammy for a plaster?" "Emmm, lets say yes"

Thai book is well worth the money 8 stories for the price is great value. Granddaughter was over the moon with it as has her favourite stories

Used when teaching about traditional tales with my nursery class (3-4). Children really enjoyed the illustrations and the stories weren’t too long so they held their attention well. Great investment.

I bought this book for my 2 great nephews,aged 2 and 3,and they love it.Their mum had been reading Billy goats gruff to them so I thought I'd look for some books for when they stayed with me,this book ticks all the boxes.It has lots of nice stories which I read to my own children when they were little.They join in with the huffs and puffs of 3 little pigs,and run run etc gingerbread man and many more.I would recommend this book to anyone with young children its fun to read and gets children interested in books from an early age as well as encouraging bedtime.

Gut

Its a great compilation of some classic stories from childhood and so reasonably priced. Paper quality is excellent and so are the glossy pictures. Makes for a wonderful present too. Go ahead and buy! The description is misleading because it is not for boys and even the book does not say so anywhere as is clear in some images posted by another reviewer too.

The book is simply outstanding! Full of bright illustrations and nice and firm binding. There are 8 stories which are beautifully illustrated and written in a simple, easy to understand way. The size of the book is also perfect for little hands. My 5 year old loved this book.

This book is a gem, d illustrations, d language, d quality of print n paper, it is beautiful. V reasonably priced too. A great job done. Taking away 1 start only because d book is really heavy. D hard cover could have been much lighter n easier to hold while reading d bedtime story.

The book cover is sturdy and the quality of the paper is excellent. The stories and language used are appropriate for my 5 year old daughter to understand. I bought this book to inculcate the habit of reading in my kid and since the day I received this book there has not been even a single day that she has not asked me to read her a story before sleeping. She absolutely loves it!! Highly recommend!!
