Did not grow well this year - put it down to weather.

Lightening seeds! !!
Bought these seeds a couple of months ago and put them in little pots straight away. The germination rate was really good so I had loads of the little beauties to deal with. All in all I have probably ended up with about 20 plants that have made it this far. All look healthy and, despite the shocking May weather we are having, doing really well. I have put some in pots and some in the garden. Let's hope the weather picks up and these sunflowers can reach their potential.

bought these to grow expecting about 30 or so seeds, opened packets to see about 12 seeds in total, the rest in the packets looked like dust from the floor. very poor from the manufacturer. Have since bought the same again but a different manufacturer and have got the correct amount in packets.
