Very handy door lock for a renter
I bought this for my daughter. She rents her apartment and cannot add additional locks on her doors. This gives her added protection, that she can take with her when she moves. I purchased two and have found them to be good quality, easy to use and effective

As Advertised
This is easy to use and works as advertised. It is nice that it has 2 different size openings depending on the shape of your door latch. I just wish the directions were a little better. I assume I am using it correctly, but it doesn't really come with directions.

Apartment dead bolt
I love this. I use it at my apartment every night as a dead bolt lock because I don't have one. (I only have an electronic lock.) Works great and is easy to use daily. Gives me peace of mind. Is sturdier than I thought also.

Works only for certain kinds of doors
I tried using this on one of my home doors, and it worked ok. It was a bit hard to place with the home door lock plate lip in the way. I purchased this to use on a solo work trip but was unable to use it as the hotel door opened outwards and this only works on inward opening doors.It took a bit of practice to get it to work on my home door, but with practice it should work great.
