I don't care what old-school electricians say...
You can watch the test videos online. There is nothing wrong using these new wire connectors as long as you do a pull test after installing them. They are more expensive for now, but I am sure the price will come down eventually. Time is money, don't waste yours. Rough-ins are breeze with these connectors!

Good Stuff
These are great space-savers, use them in place of twist-on wire nuts. No lever release like Wago, so don't plan on removing and re-using. It's possible, but not easy. Also, can be a challenge with stranded wire unless you twist really tight! But I use these any time space is an issue.

Work great for solid wire but not so much for stranded
Work great for solid wire but struggle for stranded wire. Was hoping to use them for installing new celling fans throughout the house but had to go back to old school wire nuts because they would not work with the stranded wire on the celling fans.
