There is a small second cap at the end of the red cap. The small cover is opened and the oil is poured through the small hole.

This is the highest recommended oil for Singer Sewing Machines. Easy to use, easy to apply. There is no leakage. Best all around. The viscosity of this oil is perfect. Not too runny and not thick and sticky. It was a little price up front, but you barely use any and it will last darn near a lifetime. So the value outweighs the overall amount spent.
