Good drill bits to have available for use as required
Well packaged with each bit in an individual plastic box, so they can’t knock into each other, however would have been nice to have had a small case to keep them together rather than just a padded bag.Supplied in a good range of sizes, however the size is not marked on the case so you have to open to check the size. They have a shaped shank, to allow the drill chuck to attach firmly to them without slipping, each drill bit is well finished and the diamond grit finish so far is withstanding wear, though can’t currently comment on long term longevity. For the diamond grit drill bits you need to remember to follow the instructions and start at a 45 degree angle, then move to 90 degrees, to stop the tip wandering about, let the drill bit do the work and keep them well lubricated with water.Good addition to the toolbox, for when something needs to be fitted to the wall / go through a tiled area in the kitchen or bathroom, so pleased to have them available.

Good
Nice little diamond hole cutter set, these work best on ceramics, glass and masonry etc.The trick to making hole where you want it is to mark the center on the hole then measure down the radius of the cutter so if its the 40mm cutter measure down from the center mark 20mm and place the bottom edge of the cutter on that point with the drill angled down and start cutting the hole at the bottom only then slowly angle the drill up so the rest of the cutter comes in to contact with the surface then you can drill in normally. Anyway I have only used one of these sofar and it worked fine.

Good Quality Diamond Hole Cutters
If like me you're into your DIY tasks, then you'll often comes across tasks that require a hole to be cut in a material. Whilst this isn't usually too much of a problem in soft materials like wood, at least at small diameters, it get significantly more tricky if you need a larger hole, especially in tough materials like stone or concrete, hence when I saw this selection of sizes I was keen to try them out.First impressions are good, the drill bits come in individual plastic containers, each the right size to house the drill bit. Each is constructed of hardened carbon steel, and they feel well made. The challenge with these however is getting a whole started, as you do not have a traditional centre bit to keep it in place obviously. Hence you need to start off very slows as to create some grooves, after which you can speed up. That would say is the main drawback here, as a spinning cylinder touching a hard surface wants to pull off in a direction, so you can easily scratch the surface outside the cutting area. This can be reduced by covering the zone in some kind of thick sacrificial coating, like thick plastic or cardboard and then cutting into that as a template to keep it stable.Overall for £28 these are well made hole cutters, but they are really for quite niche purposes, and you need to be able to keep it stable, which is hard with a handheld drill, so I would recommend you know exactly that these are what you need, or else buy a traditional arbour based hole saw instead.

Ok for a one off job, no central bit
This is an OK set for the cost. I've used the smaller ones on tiles and it is OK.Not having the ability to put in a drill bit to centre the hole cutter is a pain. The smaller ones you might get away with and I did by being really careful but the larger ones will go all over the place without a pilot hole or template.OK for the money if you are prepared to make of a template, for example if you drilling a large hole in tiles you will want to drill a hole in a piece of wood with a wood cutter and then fix this to the tiles and use it a guide for the hole cutter.

They work fine for a few holes each.
I've only tried 3 different sizes so far and they have all done what I needed them to do, make holes in tiles. Go fairly slowly as they work by grinding the material away. You won't get more than a few holes from each bit as the abrasive wears off fairly quickly but, as a DIY'er I normally only need 1 or 2 holes to solve a problem. Decent enough quality to price ratio and a good set to have around. Sizes to suit anything from a cable to a sink waste pipe.

Excellent value for money (especially at 'offer' price)...
Good selection of bits, great to have in your kit for 1-off jobs.At time of writing, these work out at around £1.84 each, which quite frankly is peanuts for what you're getting here.I've used a couple of the smaller sizes on glass already (12mm and 20mm), and have no complaints at all with them. That will likely change the more they're used of course, but for what are basically 'DIY' bits, they're fine. The frustration of NOT having a set like this to hand when needed far exceeds the price of this set, and at the current offer price it's a no-brainer really. On a quality/value-for-money basis... 5-Stars.

Does what it says
A half decent set if you buy it for use as it’s intended-a DIY product for a few uses then you will be satisfied. I used the 22mm bit on paving slabs and found that the best approach is to spin the bit up full speed and apply the bit at a 45deg angle like the instructions say then once started straighten up and apply water as you go. If you try this with a slow speed the bit will wander all over the place skipping along the surface. Water is essential to prevent burnOut as is not too much pressure on the drill. Force it with all your weight and don’t use water will guarantee a blunt useless bit.
