We have two other Jerdon Two-Sided Swivel Wall Mount Mirrors that have given us many years of use and yet they both look like they just came out of their boxes. So, when my wife wanted a table top make-up mirror, we bought this one, also manufactured by Jerdon. We have not been disappointed, as this also is a very well-made mirror, with a very heavy base to keep it from easily falling over and strong structure holding what appear to be high quality mirrors (1x and 5x magnification). We fully expect to get many years of use out of this mirror as we have with the two Jerson swivel wall mounted mirrors have given us.

This mirror seems to be good quality. It’s taller than most of the mirrors of similar kind. It doesn’t have the lights which is what I was looking for.The mirror also looks nice. Doesn’t look cheap.

This is exactly the mirror I've been looking for. It's 2 sided: 1 side is regular mirror, the other side is 5x magnification. 9 inches, full size. But best of all, it's tall and has an adjustable stand. It's perfect to place on a bathroom counter and you can use it easily without bending over. You can adjust the height to make it shorter if you put it on a vanity, bedside table or desk. The bottom base is round but with a small enough footprint that it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's very sturdy and the mirror can be removed from the stand but, for me, it's too large for traveling. I think this is a remarkable value. Even though I was looking for a lighted mirror, this mirror can be so tall that the regular bathroom lighting is sufficient. I can't say enough good things about this mirror. It's my 1st purchase from this company but I won't hesitate to buy their products again. I can't remember when I've been more pleased or excited about a purchase. And it was well packaged, too. Easy to attach the stand to the mirror and the base. This is SO much better than I expected based on other reviews. I recommend this for aging eyes or anyone with vision issues. it gives you totally hands-free use for skin care, make up application or eyebrow tweezing.

This is a very tall mirror. If you are sitting at a vanity, you will need to tilt it down. The problem with this is that it does not hold its position, but tilts back up. When it pull it forward to use, it swivels on its base. Totally frustrating. We have the screws tightened all the way but it still swivels. Although the height is adjustable, it will not stay at the height you want it to. The mirror part is fine, there is no distortion, but I find I'm not using it because I have to keep positioning it and then it will not hold its position. I would return it if the box hadn't been thrown away. It is useless to me.

I am thrilled with this. It is just what I have been looking for. Because I have the taller height vanity in my bathroom, I have trouble leaning in close enough to the wall mirror for makeup application and other close-up tasks. This looks great on my counter top and, when extended to its full height, it is perfect for someone who stands for their grooming routine. I am 5'5", which is not an uncommon height for a woman, but finding a tall enough mirror on a stand for this purpose was nearly impossible. You would think that others would also have the same need. I considered a mirror on a retractable scissors-style arm, but I am glad to have this one as the retractable ones are not nearly as solid or attractive.This is sturdily built and of good quality with a nice heavy base for stability. I am pleased. I was hesitant to buy this based on other reviewers' disappointment with it being wobbly. Mine is very slightly so (the reason I gave four stars instead of five), but when the adjustment cuff is tightened down adequately, it is not a problem, even when extended to its full height, which is how I leave it. I purchased mine from Amazon through their "open box warehouse deal" for a substantial savings. Never having done that before, I was concerned that the product would have some flaw, but it is just like new and I would purchase in this way again.As an additional note, the 5x magnification is just the right strength for those who have reached a certain age and don't want to reach for their reading glasses every few minutes. Just be forewarned that you may see more than you bargained on! 'Nuff said!

the quality of both sides of the mirror is fine.The only dislike on my part (and that is due to the size of my countertop) is that the mirror itself is bigger in diameter than I expected. This may actually be a plus for someone with a large counter top.

We stayed in a luxury hotel and this is the mirror they had. So clear and with a 5 x side too (thats a little scary) and I really liked it. Have looked for mirrors over the years and this is the best one. You could travel with it but it is heavy. However, it comes apart into 2 pieces. I choose not to add the weight into my suitcase.

Great shaving mirror. Well built, large and tall. Only criticism is when you extend the stand to raise the height it is not stable and wobbles. The mirror is all metal except for the bushing between the inner and outer tubes. It is nylon (plastic), and pretty flimsy. A real shame that this great mirror has such a cheap part to do the main reason I bought this mirror, to raise the mirror higher than normal.A 5 star mirror that only gets 4 stars.

Amazing mirror. Hugh. Sit high and adjustable which was what I had been looking for do so long!I was going back and forth unable to decide between the Chrome finish vs Nickel, I’m very glad I chose nickel, it’s great, looks and feels like high quality, even though I won’t be able to ever see the chrome finish nor give that a chance, I definitely don’t regret my decision. It’s perfect.

The construction is solid and well made. The magnifying mirror has no defects and is smooth. The stand is well protected from water (thus no rust).Finally the weight is enough to stabilize the mirror but not too heavy for older people.Full Marks !

Es un espejo de excelente calidad (mucho mejor que algunos espejos de vanidad con luz) y de muy buen tamaño sin embargo al tener solo una rosca de ajuste de altura queda un poco suelto y se mueve un poco (baila) eso puede hacerlo algo molesto.

I have been on the hunt for an adjustable mirror to do my makeup because I HATE looking down and straining my neck. This is perfect! For some reason, I didn't expect it to be so big, even though it clearly is advertised as a 9-inch mirror. I don't mind it though, in fact, it's a bonus for me.
