...can stay on the JLU permanently (even with Freedom Tops on)...
...this is a great sun screen for a couple reasons:...one, it comes in lots of colors ad the fabric and materials are of high quality......two, it is very easy to install - though I would ask Spiderwebshade to make the QR code linked directly to the product purchased, not just their website for install instructions......I love the two-piece as you can choose to have shade in front, back or both......it fits under the freedom tops (with a little creativity - it's not as easy to install/unistall freeedom tops with this shade in place) - and in te process looks like a high quality headliner with the tops on......it blocks enough sun to be very effective, yet you can see objects through it - which keeps the open air feeling......it does reduce wind and wind noise with freedom tops and windows down -- also with the jeep totally stripped down......the only negative is that it actually increases wind noise with the freedom tops off and the windows up, but it's not a big deal......totally worth the money if you plan a longer trip or commute (like i do) to help protect the interior and yourself from excessive overhead sun exposure, while tempering a bit of excess wind...

Best Sunshade for Wrangler
After comparing many different sunshades for the JLU Rubicon, the one from Spiderwebshade in our opinion turned out to be by far the best.Installing the included mounts with the original screws at the sportsbar only takes minutes. After that hooking the rubbers to the mounts results in a much cleaner look and better tension compared to others using toggles or similar stuff. The quality of the material seems very good and durable. Shade is perfect and still you keep that airy open feeling in the car.People say, it also reduces wind inside the car. Since ours at the moment doesn't have any windows or doors, we cannot tell... ;-)You easily find cheaper products with the competition. Finding something equal or even better might be difficult. Even ordering from the US, delivery to Europe incl. customs happened surprisingly quick and without any issues.

I can hear Obi-Wan say, "This is the shade you're looking for."
I had a frustrating week last week. After realizing my Bestop soft top was junk, and finally getting an RMA, couldn't quickly at a stoplight open and close the top over the front seats. So I would want SOMETHING for shade when I had the hard top off or the freedom panels. Nobody ever sits in the back seat, there's just my son and I in the front. I shave my head, so sun pounding on me regularly just burns my skull and I don't like peeling up there. So I first tried a full length shade, but learned despite the maker saying that yes, you can still remove and install the freedom panels without removing it, that no, actually, you couldn't. So I returned that, got another that I could install and remove the freedom panels while leaving it there, although it required removing two of the little ball bungee straps for the front hinge. Not a big deal, and I would've been satisfied with that requirement had it actually BLOCKED SUN. It barely had any difference at all.I finally realized I wasn't going to be happy with the cheap alternatives. You want something decent, you gotta pay for it. And I liked how this looked like it sat high in the cage, not so low that it would be constantly scraping my head (I'm over 6 feet tall). The install routine intrigued me, it looked like they had put thought into it. So I ordered it.My biggest problem with the order was a "prime" item that really is NOT a "prime" item. They should change that. Prime means 2 days or less, this took 4.But that being my biggest problem is a good thing.I removed the freedom panels, I removed the four bolts from the windshield but I didn't remove the wipers and didn't lower the window - just lifted it out of my way for the minute it took me on each side. Now, I had expected some flimsy clips from the way I read about some people complaining about clips on other sites, but these are pretty solid and significant things. I have photos of how I placed them, both the first time and the relocation after I wanted the shade to be pulled more. I knew I wanted the outer ones to go "outside" of that farthest bolt, just to keep it tugged in that direction, and as you can see by my photos, it stays in place over there just fine, and even if it wiggles around some now with everything bolted back on, that bolt will keep it from sliding inward.I spent more time trying to find a torx tip to use to remove the screws in the cage than I think I spent installing this. And that's because I hadn't seen the torx they include in the parts bag. Yes, they give you the one tool that's not part of the Jeep kit that you need to install this. Thoughtful of them.I did not have to even loosen the hard top as I did with the other small front shade only product I had purchased. I was able to shove this through and reach up from the rear door area to pull it around the little nub. And those nubs are great - LOVE them, since they make installing this so much easier...I have a bunch of photos I've taken I'll post here, showing how it sits so much higher than the other I had. My head hit that one a lot, I haven't hit this one once despite being over 6' and having the seat cranked up high (I like the visibility when driving). You don't have to unhook anything to put the freedom panels back on or take them off, but you WILL move the shade out of the way for the hinge that you flip. Then it tucks right under the shade again to leave a clean look. The other ones that you pivot to lock in place all were not difficult with the shade in place. It may have added a whole minute to installing or removing the panels. Totally worth it in my opinion. With the panels in place there's a bit of a wrinkle in the fabric where it can't stretch tight as normal, that goes away again when the top comes off and things are positioned for the panels being gone.So this is a great example of why it doesn't pay to cheap out. It's about twice as expensive as what I had tried previously, but it's about 10 times better, so definitely a deal.If you want a shade for the jeep, this is definitely my recommendation...

You’ll Regret Not Getting it Sooner!
Title says it all - the spiderwebshade is absolutely amazing. Fits the Jeep perfectly and secure in place. Blocks the sun perfectly while not compromising the freedom of having no roof. I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone who is looking for a sunshade for their Jeep. Also, the customer service is great! My shipment was slightly delayed, and spiderwebshade’s customer service was quick to respond to my inquiry. They even threw in a free t-shirt for the minor inconvenience. All around, great experience and extremely happy with the purchase. Happy off road adventures! ✌🏻

This is the shade you want.
It was easy to install even with dropping the windshield down. Which with two people we just opened it enough to slip the hooks in. The buttons went on hassle free and simple. The string made looping the bungee a breeze. Looks great and my head doesn’t rub it. PERFECT

Solid product
It’s a nice sun screen and it keeps the noise level lower than I thought while driving. It is challenging to install though; I had a friend do it who got it done in about 45 minutes. Most complicated part was having to push forward front window. It says to remove windshield wipers to remove window but you don’t need to remove the wipers as long as you have someone holding the front window window forward while you install the latches that hold the sunscreen to the vehicle. Seems like a good product and it’s nice having the hardtop off for the summer!

Best fit!
Here is 3 suggestions:1 - Make a strap for the rear center, it flaps a lot in high winds and on freeway2 - Make some sort of strap for the center so it doesn't flap3 - Make it a little wider so it covers the driver and passengers, it leaves a gap about an inch wide. I'd love to get full coverage. This was so easy to install, love the product. I put it on my 2018 JLU and it fit like charm.

Great Qaulity and Fit
Easy Install and removable. Thick build quality. had it in some light rain/drizzle, worked great. I would buy this again. It only covers the front 2 seats which is what I was looking for.
