Brabantia Ironing Board D, Silicon Heat Pad, Mint Frame, Steel, Tropical Leaves, 47 x 8.5 x 163.5 cm

I thought twice before purchasing this ironing board as it is quite expensive. However I am really glad that I did make the purchase. The surface area is very large making the ironing of sheets, in particular much easier than struggling with a smaller board. Whilst the board can be raised to any number of heights there is a useful facility to preset the height so that it opens to you preferred height each time you use it, it would have been good if the instructions provided for doing this had been clearer but having mastered them it is a really good feature. Otherwise a good sturdy board that will, I am sure, give many years of service.

I wish I had bought this ironing board before now. I am 5'11 and have always suffered with back ache when doing the ironing, but no more. At it's highest it comes slightly above my waist line so I can stand up straight. It is extremely well made and easy to use. Highly recommended especially if you are a tall person.

Easy to adjust the height. Really nice large surface to iron on. I really like the heat resistance surface at the end rather than a rack as I find racks catch the material.It's very sturdy, but this does mean it is heavy. While the mechanism to fold it is easy, you do need to be strong! I can adjust the height myself, but I have to get someone to fold it away for me.

The dimensions of this ironing board are perfect. The extra width is a great bonus. The heat pad for the iron is a good idea. Well pleased!

It's a great product. Very sturdy, easy to fold and lightweight. Well done Brabantia and worth every penny. Yet it only arrived on my third order. The first two misteriously went missing at dpd's delivery depot and I can somehow see why as the package arrives in a minimalist fully transparent packaging (good for the environment though). Still, Amazon support was helpful all along and they shipped it with a different partner the third time.

Delivery was from Amazon eu rather than uk. Took a month to arrive, but the price was brilliant so it was worth waiting for/.

Although expensive, these are best boards available. Previous Brabant is board lasted 14 years!This board is easy to fold / open. Good feature is being able to pre-set the opening height
