Easy set up and keeps worms moist. The tubs fit together well and the worms are free to move from layer to layer. Glad I made the purchase. Wish the composting was quicker but ya can’t rush Mother Nature.

Got this worm composter to align with my husband’s newest hobby. Comes with everything you need as a first time worm composter. Can’t wait to see the results!

This is of cheap materialBut it is a starter and that's exactly what I wanted. Don't want to spend a lot of money unless I end up composting for a long time. If I do decide to do this lo g term I am sure I will have to invest in something more solid and less likely for the worms to escape

I'm new to composting in all forms. Not having an ideal location for traditional composting, I decided to go with worms and selected this unit back in January. I've waited to review to see how it would go. It's been great. This unit is ideal for a beginner or someone who just wants a very low maintenance way to compost. The unit is is sturdy and in my opinion, very well designed. Could I do it cheaper by building a unit out of a Rubbermaid tub? Absolutely. Is this still better? For me, yes. I like that I can just add a new tray and the worms will move out of the old tray when they are done, and I don't have to do too much digging around.

This item was not at all as pictured. It's made of cardboard, doesn't assemble correctly, fell apart after three days, and is pretty much useless. You get what you pay for. Do not make the same mistake I did. Skip this purchase.
