Hestra Leather Heli Ski and Ride Glove with Gauntlet

I have skied for over 35 years, starting in Aviemore in the late 70's. I have worn loads of different gloves in just about all conditions. These are definitely on a par with the best gloves I have worn as far as quality and comfort are concerned (probably the blue and white leather Salomons in the mid 80's - remember them?), but I honestly don't think that they are the warmest gloves out there. I have only worn these for a week in France, and the weather was dry and no colder than -5C at worst, and while my hands weren't uncomfortably cold in these, I was glad it wasn't any colder. I intend to try a thin pair of liner gloves for my next trip as I really found these very comfortable, but at this price I expected just a bit more insulation.They are obviously a lovely bit of kit, but just don't get too caught up in the hype........

These are a second pair of Hestra ski gloves, these were for my husband. And they are brilliant. Warm, adaptable and they look great. I will never buy any other glove in the future its Hestra all the way for us. They are pricey but my goodness they are worth every penny. After years of wearing various liners, I can safely say you really don't need anything but a pair of Hestras on the slopes.

Love skiing ! Hard to keep the leather looking tip top, but these are a must.

I love these gloves. Detachable linings is a great idea. 100% recommend.

They are picking up dirt very quickly (as you can expect from white leather). Water resistance seems to be an issue too. Good quality. Comfortable down to -12C.

I thought these were possbibly a little loose, - I measured my boyfriends hand across palm and went on to Hestia website for fit advice. But he thinks they are perfect. Great glove.
