Hurt couldn't begin to describe her feelings but when she sees him with another girl awhile later she gives up. She explores what is out there but it doesn't make her overly happy in the relationship department.Ben was told by his boss, Imogen's dad, she was off limits to everyone who worked for him. Ben couldn't deny he didn't feel something for Imogen, he does. He wants to be with her and when her ex decides to mess with her, Ben wants to help. Tired of denying his feelings he acts. Now he not only has to keep her safe but get her Dad on board with their relationship, will he be able to keep the woman who owns his heart?Another wonderful book in this series. I felt for Imogen and the one thing I can say for this author she writes in such a way you feel the emotions for every character. Has some humorous moments with the other Carter's. Such a terrific family series.

I enjoy the Carter stories very much and this one did not disappoint.... Hope there are more of the Carter's

I really loved this series. I wish there was more to read. They were a awesome family, I loved reading the character development and about relationships.

The ups a d downs of this book had me on a roller coaster at one point I was laughing so hard then crying! I love the roller coasters Lisa takes us on for her books!

Love Lisa’s writing! The stories she comes up with are always unique and you never know what antics the Carters are going to get up to. I also love how in this book she wrote more about those who haven’t got their second gen book yet. Can’t wait for the rest to find their happily ever after!

This was a great book. I love reading about the Carter’s (even tho imogen is technically a smith). This book didn’t disappoint well minus not having funny Max scenes but we can’t have it all lol. I can’t wait to find out what’s coming next for this family.

Such a great story, I love the characters in these series. Imogen may not be a Carter but she has all the sass and crazy that Hayden and the others have. Definitely a must read if you love the other next Generation.

Great job once again on the Next Generation books! I love how Lisa Helen Gray brings all the characters into every book but still stays on the characters that the books are about. Can't wait to see who is next in line to read about!

I loved reading Imogen and really enjoyed all of the usual Carter family appearances and mentions throughout the book. Great characters and storyline as always.

What a fantastic read. You’ve done it again and nailed it. My eyes may have leaked a time or two but my gosh you can write. I’m glad the Carters did not fail to cause mischief and help save the day once more.

Amazing book again, I actually can’t wait until the next one, I absolutely love getting my fix of the Carter’s (Smith in this book but still a Carter at heart) a rollercoaster of emotions again, missed Max :( though anyway amazing read I absolutely love and appreciate your books and I will continue my love of reading with the Carter’s thank you Lisa

Imogen was worth the wait. I finished this book in one night & and can not wait for the rest!
