These are perfect stanchions that look great and work well. They are constructed out of high quality durable stainless steel and are very stable. The flannel ropes are highly noticeable and smooth to the touch, and the clips used to attach to the posts are strong and reliable. I like these stanchions. They are well made, look great and work perfectly.

Will likely suit my needs for the home theater, but am disappointed in the overall quality. Despite what others say, the metal is rather thin (feels more like tin than steel). And don't plan to fill the bases with sand...they don't include any plugs!

Posts are too light to hold the weight of the ropes. One post was damaged. The base needs to be much heavier - not safe to control public line-ups. Topple over way too easily.

I mean for the price I shouldn’t expect anything better however, these are so unbelievably light that if you look at them wrong, they tip over. I would spend a little more money on something with a more sturdy base
