Dead Space 3: Prima Official Game Guide

As I get older and games seem to get harder (could be an age thing), these strategy guides are a huge help. Prima does excellent guides that read well and make achievement hunting a lot easier. Pictures don't really do some of the location-based information a whole lot of justice but, unfortunately, it's not possible (yet) to embed small video into paperback.

So far this is one of my favorite games, I purchased Dead Space 1, 2, 3 and DS: Awakened. Be prepared to jump out of your seat as each challenge will test you. The graphics are excellent along with the control of movement you'll have. I use the Xbox 360 controller on my self built PC as I suck on keyboard. If you like action with a good story line, buy it!

When playing some games, I often will pause it and research online the fix. It is not too often I do this, but I did not have to with this book.Nice art, nice quality and very helpful.

I am here to review the book Prima Games published for DS3. NOT DS3 ITSELF.Now that's out of the way, the book itself is nice. Cool cover print and the extra concept art is fun to look over. The step-by-step walkthrough is easy enough a caveman could do it. Explains different endings, trophies and unlockables as expected. It covers the bases you would expect from a guide.The lost star comes from the low quality paper that was used for the internal pages. The guide for DS2 has a much higher quality feel, very telling of the quality between the two games themselves.The Dead Space series is nostalgic to me at this point and it's fun to have the novelties that go with it.

I am quite amazed that i got this a day earlier then i thought i would have gotten it. I was a little surprised by the size of it I was expecting something bigger but that really isn't a problem. It does show where to get all of the collectibles but it doesn't show them for certain other modes in the game but you do get most of the collectibles in the game. It is a great buy. The size of this guide is about the size of an Average school yearbook

I picked this up because I'm a huge fan of the Dead Space series, and I was hoping that some of the tidbits included in the guide would be helpful in illuminating small details about the Dead Space universe. Of particular interest to me was the "Timeline" that was included.However, most of the expectations for lore, or even gameplay, fall short. It's a good guide in that it has nice clean maps that are easy to follow and understand, although occasionally they can get a bit confusing when the levels loop over themselves, or when you're trying to find items in the space locations. However, information on things as far as the weapon modules/upgrades is disappointing at best - they just provide the rote description given in the game, with little additional information to flesh out the modules. You end up with pretty much no additional information as to what things will do, other than a complete list of the parts you could potentially pick up.And the timeline I was so looking forward to? It's a time line of the games/media associated with the Dead Space universe, not a timeline of the universe itself.All in all it's not a great book, but it could be worse. If you're struggling with the game, or just want some help, or are a huge Dead Space fan, I'd say it might be worth picking up. For a casual player? Not so much.

Leicht verständliches, englisch sprachiges Lösungsbuch zu DS 3! Sehr dick, gute Qualität von Papier und Tinte. Passt sehr gut zum Gamecover.

Ce guide à ceci de particulier qu'il est conçu de la même manière que celui du 2, dans le sens ou leur taille , le glaçage et la présentation sont identique ( le 2 est juste un peu plus épais ), cela est agréable en présentation sur une étagère. Concernant le contenu, il est bien conçu, avec de belles photos du papier de qualité et quelques pages du art book ( à posseder de toute urgence car il regroupe les trois titres) sur la fin , bref un jolis bouquet final.

What can I say if you are stuck on any games get Prima official game guide. It's well worth it. Coloured pictures and sneaky previews were to find Items Highly Recommended and a good deal for the price too.

Can't believe it what a bargain listed as used, but still in original packaging stickered, small dent on top corner easy fix. Don't want to open it now Collectors piece
