I've been using my Wahl Designer (model 8355-400) trimmer for probably 12 to 14 years and never had one bit of problem from it. Nevertheless, it is starting to show its age. That is, the clipper blades are getting a few small rusty spots. Yes, I do keep it well lubricated with Wahl clipper lubricant but time does take its toll. I went ahead and ordered the twin pack because it was just a couple dollars more. This way I can replace the blades now and have the other for backup when they need to be replaced again in 10-15 more years.

My interest in this product was specifically the Stagger-tooth feature which unfortunately is not what I got. The blades themselves seem perfectly fine: two taper blades that fit Wahl and Wahl-style clippers. However, if you're a fan of the Wahl Magic Clip, likely one of the features you love is its stagger-tooth blade- an alternation in the teeth of the cutting blade which acts as the clipper-blade equivalent of thinning shears, meaning you get a smoother, more forgiving blend when you're doing skin fades. I was interested in either replacing the stagger-tooth blade on my now ancient Magic Clip or installing the new blades on one of my other clippers, but the blades I received are standard blades, with uniform teeth in the cutting blade which defeats the purpose of my ordering this product. For this reason I must dock two stars: I received a functional product but it was not what I asked for.

Estas cuchillas se ven de excelente calidad y son 100% compatibles con todas las máquinas WAHL y máquinas replicas (de cable o batería) que utilicen cuchillas WAHL de 2 tornillos.En la descripción dice ser cuchillas Stagger-Tooth y esto está completamente erróneo ya que ese tipo de cuchillas son las que vienen con los dientes escalonados, o sea, un diente largo y otro corto, como la cuchilla original de la WAHL Magic Clip inalámbrica y estas cuchillas son iguales a la que utiliza la WAHL Super Taper.Me parece muy bien por el precio teniendo en cuenta que las cuchillas son de muy buena calidad y se ven como cuchillas WAHL originales, pero sin el nombre.NOTA: Al vendedor que corrija la descripción del artículo porque es engañoso y de mal gusto el que compres estas cuchillas pensando que son las cuchillas planas y de dientes escalonados con las que viene de fábrica la WAHL Magic Clip de batería y termines recibiendo las cuchillas cóncavas con las que viene una WAHL Super Taper.

I have a set of Wahl clippers that I needed replacement blades for. They do fit, but even on first use you notice that they're not as sharp or precise as the original blades. When the blades are adjusted to be their tightest/shortest settings, sometimes they'll bind up against the guard that you're using.

Durable and nice quality, fits just about any clipper, for me it’s a little tricky to install it takes patience and precision, worth the buy, all around a great product

My boyfriend finally got his old one nstalled this weekend. He’s been tried several times before, but it all failed. Maybe he is too impatient for that.Anyway it fits and works perfectly with his old one and he might still keep it for awhile.
